Faster start up of System Restore. It takes too long load. Ditto the UAC creating a safe list based upon usage. I want the "Delete", "Move To" and "Copy To" icons back in a toolbar in Windows Explorer and in the right-click menu. If there is a way to show them now in Vista, I haven't found them yet. Vista-compatible Functions in Object Desktop Stardock Forums

Object Desktop consists of a multitude of smaller programs, not all of which, according to their various websites (and not all of the little sub-programs have their own websites) are yet Vista-capable. Could we possibly have a pinned post that just lists which of the sub-programs of Object Desktop currently work with Vista 32 and 64, so we don't have to screw around with trial-and-error installations (not to mention upsetting Vista's tender sensibilities and the aggravation that causes)? Kudos to you for facing facts and (hopefully) start resolving the problems, especially the documentation ones. I picked up Object Desktop after I had gotten Windowblinds and CursorXP because I wanted to try my hand at skinning. But I'm a total newbie to that and my computer knowledge is self-taught, so I've been finding the task daunting and time-consuming instead of fun.

Thanks DocLotus, for pointing out the dpi problem. I had just opened Theme Manager and found that I only got a portion of its screen, the apply button, etc. were cut off, and there was no way to expand its screen or apply the downloaded themes. Changing the dpi corrected that problem, but now I'm stuck with the smaller fonts which are hard for me to see. This is really a PITA.

To continue on with a wallpaper problem, I've got the "apply any wallpaper supplied" option checked, yet when I apply a WB, I seem to retain whatever my previous wallpaper was, even though when I download the WB files, the image on say, wincustomize, seems to indicate that there is a specific background wallpaper for that particular WB. What am I doing wrong with this? Is it just that there are no actual wallpapers being supplied, that they are going to some other location,
