I would like to see the Hyper Distribution Center and the Galactic Stock Exchange officially fixed. It is such a simple matter to add a space between the two words in the Tech Requirement fields of each in the PlanetImprovements.xml file to get them working again. A startbase manager page like the colony manager would be nice. Across the top you'd have trade/economy/inf etc and under each it'd have x/y. X being how many of that type of module you have and Y being how many of that type you have the tech to add. E.g base name trade economy beam attack shields armour etc. base201 3/3 4/6 1/6 6/6 0/6 base 201 has maxed out trade modules, 4 out of 6 possible economy modules etc. <b
It is not a bug. All capitols, achievements, trade goods, and wonders cannot be demolished. It may not be a bug, but it's poor design. I wonder, has anyone seen the AI appear to cheat without using ctrl+N or the no FOW cheat? Seems there are/were some issues with ctrl+n in the beta and we don't know what the cheats do to the AI. What might be better is to start a single map and use the cheats to cover the map in sensor ships to watch what the AI does.
I've now had 4 different SNs and none will let me download the collectors goodies. Same errors as Ubbax. Any suggestions? Edit: Perhaps I've made it worse in trying to make a 2nd account: Darkrenown2. No validation email has been sent but this is the account that shows up when my SN is emailed to me.
Pre-ordered the direct download, from what I've read the collectored edition boxes have a special URL in them to get the extras, but of course I don't have a box. Perhaps the download included the pre-order stuff? How do I tell, and if not, how do I get them?
XPSP2 pro, all updates. 1GB RAM, Radeon 9600. It does seem to crash after alt tabbing, screen goes blank, have waited 30+ seconds, task manager says game's not responding. From the preload readme: "* Save games and preferences are stored under Documents and Settings\%username\My Documents\GalCiv2." Can we change this? I really dislike it when games don't place the saves inside the game's own folder (Damn you to hell, Civ4!). I keep my OS etc on my C: drive and games on my D:.
