Just a quick note to say thanks to the mod team. I started playing this mod last night and loved it. It's the game i've been waiting for, from the star trek franchise since Micropose's Birth of the federation.

< Hi I've had a weird lockup will playing. I hit the turn button after completing my moves and the game seems to get stuck in a loop will moving a freighter inbetween the turns. I can recreate this as i usually save the game before i end a turn. I had just invaded a planet if this makes a difference. If i cancel the offending trade route the turn passes normally . Any Ideas ?????? Don't know how to put debugger info on here but stardock you can have the save file if you want.

I had slowdown on my last game (large map). My system spec are similar to yours. It started when i began to build my first frigates. I had spent about an hour designing the ship, it has nearly 100 "extras" ( jewelry) and looks lush. I built about 30 of them, it really slowed the frame rate when looking at the map zoomed in.

Regarding circle of influence (range) i just quick save before placeing a starbase. It's a bit of a pain but better than nothing.

Hi I've been playing the game for a few days now and i'm really enjoying it. The one thing i'm a bit lost with is where to put my starbases. I'm ok with military ones and i know to place economic ones so that they are in range of my planets. I was wondering if there is any benefit to haveing more than one starbase affecting a single planet? The other issue is with influence starbases, i know to place them on my borders to affect other civ outlining planets. But should i have them
