I have been looking over the features for Dark Avatar and I am dying to try out the new features; especially the "Planet Colonization Techs". I have one concern however. Suppose I start a new game. I quickly colonize all regular planets near me, then focus on military. Some other race, say, the Torians, decide to take the colonization path and start littering my empire with little pockets of Green. All those heavy-gravity and zero-atomosphere planets become a thorn in my side. <br/

Cool Now I will do one except with wal-mart. Long Live Wally World!
I know galciv isnt a combat game, but one thing i would like to see is a more in-depth combat system. I dont know how, but id like to have a use for having both capital ships and fighters.
Plus, you didn't add any sensors or life support. Sensors are important for tottally offensive ships like yours. (allow you to attack first more often) another, smaller benefit is that planets without orbital fleet managers will be better protected with frigates than with fighters.
we also need more hulls. it would be really cool if an expansion would give us like 10 new hulls for each size.
I am getting very frustrated. I preordered my game a week before release. i paid for three day shipping. Now its friday, and its not here! i checked online where the package was. IT JUST SHIPPED TODAY. i'm just mad cuz i really excited about this game. Any reason why it didn't ship on release day?
Those dominators are pretty awesome. i love how you can build just the right ship that your opponent can't even touch. Talk about killing those stupid Starcraft Battlecruisers (okay there not that stupid)
I have a question about land battles. Ive seen screens of a little clip that shows a bunch of guys charging each other, but how does it work? Is it just, Mass all your guys together so you can take the planet in one turn, or is it more like risk, where splitting up your forces and conquering different areas is the strategy? Thanks
