Nevermind. Unchecked "style is applied at startup" in desktop tab of styler. resolved the problem. But seriously why is that option in the desktop tab instead of the style tab?? Idiotic config.
How do you keep Styler from overriding your WB color theme? I want my window background to be a light grey as specified in WB. Styler overrides it during startup and resets it to white. Adjusting the color percentages in Styler doesn't seem to be helping. What do I do to keep this from happening? Tanks.
i remember that a previous version of WB i used (not sure what exact v. ) retained the desktop color theme (applied via display properties) after reboots. now (wb paid 5.0) doesn't even do that.

i have the same issue. i just restart firefox and it's fine.
That's the thing...I tried editing the colors w/ SS and saving it but like 30 critical errors came up..So I just gave up. lol
I seriously can't believe WB doesn't save your specific color settings (advanced options> more advanced options) after you restart your comp. Is there ANY way for me to keep my specified color settings w/o using skin studio? that program for a total newb, is DEFINATELY overwhelming. Any registry changes I could make? Any programs I could use to save

JESUS. Nevermind. the taskbar reverts back to classic upon reboot.
HAHAHA! got it to work! to people having problems, this is exactly what i did: stop themes service. click properties --> disabled. restart. windowsblinds will reload at startup. unload it. run services.msc - restart themes. then, click on properties --> automatic right click - display properties - xp theme. reload windowsblinds. booyah! dunno. maybe just stopping and restarting themes servic
me too, cdob. the paid older version (4.0) doesn't skin the bar but the free, latest version does. even after multiple reinstalls, the paid one does not skin the taskbar. just reverts to windows classic taskbar which plain sucks. it skins the titlebar of my installed programs, but not xp directly-related folders(my music folder/my documents/etc). could anyone please help us out?!? i'm using the same version (paid). i installed it, and it worked right about 6 seconds and then POOOOF seconds later the taskbar isnt being skinned after i push the apply button. the menu bars are fine but the taskbar just converts to classic. i tried reinstalling about 3 times...still doesnt work. please help us.
