Sounds Good.
Not sure about this, but me and a friend were playing today, and he was in the menu when I paused the game, and when he left the menu, the game unpaused. If it's intentional, or been reported before, just ignore me.
Dreadlords anyone?
Not sure if anyone has reported this or not, but... If you capture the enemy team's valour flag, your grunts health goes up, enemy grunts health goes down. Fine. If the second flag is then retaken, your grunts health goes down to what it would be without any valour flags. Not so fine. If you then take the enemy's valour flag again, your grunts health goes up to what it should be with <span style="text-decoration: underli
One thing that's been bugging me lately, not sure if it's come up: When you go past -500bc, all spending stops while you get out of debt right? Well, not quite. The espionage spending doesn't. I know it's not that much of a bother to manually stop it, but it is annoying, and it is exploitable.
Just wondering, has anyone noticed that with metaverse games on immense galaxies, the galaxy size is just missing when you look at the game in the profile. Or is it just me?[e digicons]:maybe:[/e]
Very funny Opening post. ...And a good serious point. Also... Den Of Earth, very funny card. You know, I think I've seen it before somewere...
53. Your hand keeps absently writing and rewriting the module combinations for best effectiveness on your new ship design without you noticeing. 54. You think you need some more influence starbases and tech whenever a vote doesn't go your way.
Doommastr, Nice facepalm. Totally called for too. The maths isn't bad.
Must... have... map... editor... (Drools...) :)
One thing you can do to make the berserk Peacekeepers work for you is to design super-fast transports, so that when the shield of defenders gets blasted from the AIs planets, you swoop in and take it, with no possibility of retribution. The AIs arent programmed to use a similar tactic, so your planets will be safe. Sentient species taste better...
Now if only I hadn't already had the speed limit event. ARRGH!
I really do wish stardock would fix the peacekeepers... over-entusiastic... tendancies. I've just spent the better part of SIX hours clearing peacekeepers from my territory alone. I would have just loaded a save, but for some reason none of them would work, and as it was a metaverse game that I'd already put several weeks into, I didn't really have a choice. :(
Well I've been paying for gas in BC for months now. And my health insurance costs seem to be measured in BC.
Worrying... But It wouldn't be beyond belief the way the world in general is going.
It was the default races, plus the first ones down in the selector, challenging difficulty. I know. It's difficult to belive isn't it.
Hi. Thought I'd share a rather odd game experience from a little while ago. It was a week or so after I got TA that I had this particular game, while I was still trying out the new features and tech-trees. It was the smallest map, rare everything, fast tech, and I started an Acension victory as soon as possible. I was also trying out the tech tree (Altarians I was playing.) Well, everyone hated me throughout the game beacause of the aceson attempt, and I was tiptoein
I've modified 'death' heavily and now it's looking more like... A japanese giant robot or a transformer.Look for yourself.
I notice you ran afoul of the Damn pixel/piece limit that turned up in DA. Still looks very nice though, nice job working around/including it. (Mnesthes idly whishes he was as good as the people doing this.) By the way... since lots of people good at shipbuilding hang around here, there's something I'd like some help with...<br/
You know, I'm not a complainer by nature, but it would be nice if it re-saved modified tech tree's, improvments, etc to backup folders instead of just overwriting them. I hate to complain, but I've done a few things myself, and I will now have to spend about four hours doing it all again. I guess i've leared by lesson about backup copies, but it would be nice to at least warn people this would happen.
To pose a thought related to the title, I wonder: Will there be a new cow level?
