Hey, I had the same problem, and here's what worked for me. Disable Data Execution Prevention in XP. You have to do this in boot.ini, it's described here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/875352 Simply put, you open boot.ini and change "/NoExecute=OptIn" to "NoExecute=AlwaysOff" There was a thread on this on another forum.

Hi, I have a small problem with the "reduce work area" function. I've reduced the bottom of the screen by 40 pixels to make room for the object dock, and it works as it should. However, in regular intervals, any maximized window uses the whole screen for a second, and then restores to the reduced area. It's pretty annoying, and when watching full screen video the bottom 40 pixels show the desktop, and then switches back to video. I'm not sure what's causing this, but
