I am a newbie to StarDock products, so I did not know the structure of the support teams, etc.. I am also not aware of the size of the development teams that are developing the Stardock product lines. I am a developer as well, so I can appreciate the isolation from most end users (it is amazeing how many don't really know the core products they are talking about). As I mentioned though my lack of access to the ActiveX code that

I am trying to get the Taskbar to 'group' the related applications (the same way the windows taskbar does). I am also looking to have the SysTray to hide/unhide objects as well. I have been unsuccessful so far. Here are links to the previous shots I have tried on the boards( Link & <a href="http://coderwolf.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?SID=7088&AID=88792

well, I have irc ports blocked where I am now. I will try IRC when I can get some time at home. I went under support because I figured it was a StarDock object, and would be easier for support to modify an existing object than create a new one from scratch. Which is what I think someone in OS Customization would have to do(as these objects are not open source). I will try the OS Customization group as well though, they may be

MountainDragon, I am by no means putting down what is available, I just wish there was more (a typical wish from many people I am sure). There are some posted on the forums that I do not see get posted. I am sure there are many reasons for this. Many of them are gorgeous, but I they are not available for download. I am sure there are many reason why this is. Ranging all the way from no time to ownership of images, etc... I see and applaud

Thank you for this very detailed explanation. I am the 'techie' in the house. To give a more detailed explanation of what I was doing, I am converting the Warcraft 1280 to a 1024 resolution for my wife. It had no relationships between the items(most of which I think really should have been parent child). I have speculations on why this may not be(mostly based around the feature history of desktopX). The author had used the group structures to rela

Many thanks. I was originally referring to the first method that you mentioned. Just to check and make sure that I have my thoughts right on this. If I set the parent property on the summary tab then the Left and Top property numbers represent the offset from the upper right corner of the parent object? If this is the case then what I am I doing wrong in the following test I tried? 1) I created a new object. 2) I went to the sum

This is just an object that uses the "Taskbar" object type(no additional abilities). The Grouping I was referring to was like the windows Taskbar does. It can group multiple programs of the same type. In RC it is called Automatic grouping(under the "Taskbar" object Settings). It would be displayed as Windows Explorer(2) with a submenu showing all the programs that match that criteria. I have seen this in several different DX themes,

Is it possible to include the windows Taskbar in the right click menu? I have the full object desktop suite, so I do have right click. I run several 'notification' type programs in the task bar that after they notify me of information I need to click on them to get more details. Thanks for the advice
