phew Id rather have desktop x than the sidebar ...but i would like to see the vista sidebar gadgets in dx .. that sidebar is way too resource hoggy .. dx uses nothing

I hope someone ports the RC1 gadgets from Vista sidebar to desptop x ... some good ones there .. and I'd rather have them in dx than having to use that sidebar !

ok, well i've uninstalled the trial for now. Until some better themes come along, particularly a good vista theme, and ability to fade the sidebar, i'll give it a miss thanks.

tried adding the live weather widget .. and the vista sidebar covered my screen .. had to select undock to get it to resize .. couldn't see the widget anywhere either

looks good, think I'd rather have this than the vista sidebar .. but i like the vista gadgets so hope to see some similar of those for it how wasy to customize to it ? pity we couldn't drag widgets onto it which would dock ..

I didn't see this thread, otherwise I would have added to it. Sorry for creating an extra thread on it then. I have the same problem with clock hands vanishing/clocls not working, but I got the SDanalogclock2.dll back by reinstalling an old version of dx 2.3 and now have both the 2 & the 3 dll analog clock plugins in my plugins folder - BUT some clocks still dont work, and I have taken a look inside the ones which don't and it seems those wh

THanks for replying Tandis ok, I found a solution to this - since I keep all my program installers, I uninstalled 3.1, installed 2.3 YES ! 2.3 !, then reinstalled 3.1 again - and all the clocks work fine, except the "Kewl Clock". the clock face hours minutes & seconds hands are there but they don't move ! https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=565&LibID=34&u=0 I tried uninstalling and reinstalling 3.1 - no success
