I had the same problem, I used a ^ in my nickname and as a result I could not login . You can change your name in stardock fortunately. I believe you can find all the details under your account details. ie 'My Account' -> 'Personal Details'

The serial number should be on a white sticker on the back of your manual. It has collectors edition written on it along with directions on how to download the extra content. If that sticker isn't there, go and stab your distributor! Also if you bought it from where I did, a certain popular Uk online store, give them a punch from me for ripping my manual .

I've been a bad bad boy . I seem to have slipped between the cracks of stardock somehow. I've managed to sign up as 'Baka^Ni' even though stardock registration explicitly told me to remove the ^. This was a complete accident and as novel as it is I cannot log into the Metaverse because GalCiv2 enforces the correct character set, ie can't type my little ^ (hat) in.
