Fighter does't have crew quarters, command bridge or Warp engines so it is smaller than smallest ship. And faster and more agile. I'm for fighters in game, and they are not like missles cause missles have to be reloaded, can run out during battle, and also, ship surrounded by fighters can't fight back on your ships, also other ships nearby are occupied by killing fighters and that keeps their firepower away from your capital ships

Why not following choices: Social Diversity-Social Equality Free Market-Central Planning Expansionism-Centralization Wartime Mobilization-Peacetime Demilitrarization Tight Security-Lax Security Open Society-Closed Society This sliders would be modifided by events as well as by player's choice. War breaks out? Event "Mobilization for war" springs up and moves slider towards Wartime Mobilization. You don't have enemies? Demilitarization
What if... you DON'T choose your faction? You are whatever population chooses- and your civ. gains that faction bonuses. So you could see if population wants war or peace or more industry or whatever. Also implementing faction weaknesses (Industrialist- higher pollution, environmentalist- higher building maintenance (due to high-tech equipment), war party- higher unrest (due to radical measures in law)...
What I really want to see is research evolving gradually. I prefer higher number of technologies than lower. I don’t want to see ech “teleporters” all of sudden, followed by “improved” and “Advanced” teleporters. I would like to see tech “Teleporting Theory”, followed by “Industrial Teleportation”, which is useful as (and only as) easy and efficient way of transporting heavy materials and unloading cargo ships. That tech would provide improvement for planet’s industr
What will be options and advantages of espionage? List benefits with each level of espionage if you have some ideas, and also sabotage options. I also don't know how may 'levels' of infiltration there will be. Espionage: low levels: View every pact and treaty with other empires, view balance budget and intenal politics, view basic info (how many ships they have, how many planets, no. of techs researched, trade routes etc.) Mid levels: See all their technologies, gain vision on all of t
I think that it is best to make them part of Humans, with human colors and all, but Humans won't directly control them
"You can't assimilate aliens. The differences are just too vast." I tottlay agree. You colud only resign them to occupation. Or unless you are Borg... But they would still be different, but some techs could make your civilization more open society Anyway...You should be given a choice when you conquer a planet: Massacre population (Considered as an atrocity by oth
I like this: If you choose to create puppet from conquered planets, you gaing tribute from it (You can set percentage) but not all, and dissent is lower. Also it is recognised as yours by other nations and has your color. It is best to make puppets from minors, but you can also puppet major civs planet. But then, if major civilization just enters system and wins space combat, planet is returnet to them without fight (Because you on't have your own troops on that
I really like PC idea, or, if not strictly +1/-2 noumbers, then at least descriptions (They are annoyed wth our ships violating their territorry, they like our mutal trading....)
Yeah and you should have different set of diplomatic options for them: Exclusive Trade Rights, Guarrantee Independence, Bring to Alliance, Send Aid... Also some standard ones: Trade Alliance, Impose Sanctions, Impose Embargo, Declare War...
