Seems it's a huge money sink and is never going to become much anyways. I don't bother settling it until I've made contact w/other races and there's a chance they may be coming for it. What do you all do with your "Mars"?
I've researched some tech up to Terraforming and if I got it right it'll auto upgrade my planets... Terraforming is pretty deep down that branch of the tech tree. If you've gone that far and you don't have any new ships you can build you're seriously neglecting other technologies. Additionally, titles must be 'worked' in order for them to become usable. Doesn't take too many turns. The manual is incorrect too, on its description of the coloring of tiles by the way
