Graphic Problem in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Ok just bought the game, and tried a lot of things to make a little detail work. Planets, stars and starships are black holes... Nothing, nada, just some space ships ,with some race designs, have a few white line and a "frame".... I fear my graphic card is to old, but can anything be done?
