I noticed two odd things with my last game: My empire started at the bottom corner of the map, and I could not scroll away from this corner by moving the mouse to the edge of the screen. If I clicked on the mini-map to move the main screen away from the corner, I could scroll as normal, but each time I started the turn in the bottom corner, I could not scroll. Also, after upgrading my starbase with a defense module, my "Turn" button disappeared. This makes it hard to play th

I have DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) installed, so that's not it either. sigh. I suppose I have to wait and see what is going on. Hey, maybe I did find some sorta bug and this is my contribution to the cause! Lol. Again, thanks for the help. Myrk (I got a new nickname!)

Thanks for the feedback. I DL'd smart exception, installed it, re-ran the program, and mailed the error log and the smartexception .zip file to the address indicated in smartexception. My laptop does indeed use onboard video, so that could be the problem, but I have no problems running other 3D games like neverwinter nights and combat mission: afrika corps...any way to check on the precise 3D requirements? I don't play many super-graphics-oriented gam

Well, I seem to have discovered a bug. Everytime I hit the next button after choosing opponents, the game crashes. Every time. I'm running a P4 2.8Ghz Dell laptop with newly updated drivers, so that shouldn't be a problem. All other programs were closed, and I tried a full reboot...nothing. any ideas? edit >> I tried uninstalling and re DLing the game in case there was a DL error, and now the game won't even load. I have an error file...where should
