Although I posted this problem elsewhere, your answer solved my puzzlement. Thanks Iztok!

I'm in the middle of a GalCivII game, and my frieghter hit a range wall. I went into the shipyard, stripped off a couple of engines off the currnet model and replaced them with Ultra Supports. I changed the name of the ship by simply tacking "LR" on the end, and saved it. I then went and upgraded my frieghter to the new design. For some reason, the range wall remained where it was prior to upgrading even though the ship info clearly showed an increase in range. Something else strange I

Edit: I guess it takes awhile for the database to update, so I posted a new thread. My apologies.

Yeah, it's a glitch I've experienced many times. Two other ways to correct the "Never-Bug" is to leave your planet after you've made your selection, and then go right back in. You'll now see the correct build time. Also, as already mentioned, you can simply ignore it, and build whatever you choose. After you hit the turn button, the correct build time will now be reflected. Still, I find it easiest to just cycle the social focus button, which resets it right away without having to leave the plan

It also may just be a slight glitch. If you're not in debt, and you have a positive social slider reading, yet the time still says "never," it's a glitch. The easiest way to fix it quickly is to cycle the "focus on social production" button. Click on it, and the time should change to read how long it would take to build if production is focused on social buildings. If you click it again to turn off the focus, the correct amount of time it would take to construct the building normally should now

I've been lurking about the forums for a while, unable to participate, as this place does not like my Safari browser at all. Thought I'd dust off the ol' Explorer, just for laughs, and whattya know... I can actually post! Scary! First off, I got the game last month as a birthday gift. I've been playing GalCiv2 at every available (albeit rare) free time slot, and now have a few games under the belt. I have to say, the game is fantastic. I haven't been this enthralled with a 4X game si

Can I assume that Safari is NOT supported, as it was not listed as one of the browsers above? If I use Safari, there is no reply window. I can use Explorer for Mac - as I am now - however, the use of this browser is also limited as I cannot post a thread without getting an error message.

Hmmm... be thankful you can post at all. Using Safari, there is no way to reply as the reply window does not appear. And while this is not the case with Explorer for Mac, I still can't post a new thread as each attempt ends in with an error message.

I'm using 1.52, and I've got the same essential problem noted by Martin the Dane. The GP works great alone, but if I try to view it with GalCiv open and running, the main screen of the GP is usually completely blank, or sometimes the information can be seen, squeezed and garbled, laying over the radio buttons. Unfortunately for me, resizing the window or restarting GalCiv does nothing. I'm curious if anyone has figured out a solution to this, or a workaround?
