My problem with the way you do things is why do I need to go thought extra(not needed) steps to get patches, when you could just have the most recent patch on your website. When the next one comes out, take the last one down and replace it with the new one.(Space Empires 5 dose this already) I realy do not see then need to install SDC just to install patches.
This is a signle minded way to look at the role of ships in space. With new medium you redefine the role. Carriers in space would make the best mobile command posts. On the net I go for news from BCC, MSNBC, NPR. When it comes to the newspapers, I just check headlines and check on the net on the headlines that interest me. On TV I mainly stick to MSNBC.
Is there going to be a way to get this update with out haveing to use Stardock? I mostly play GC2 on my laptop, and I do not have a way to get on the internet with it. Haveing a update that I can put on a portable hard drive so that I can update without useing Stardock would helpful.
I have GC2 gold as well. I mostly play it on my laptop. I can not go online with the laptop. Will you be putting the updates to DA on your website so I do not have to go thought Stardock Central? I just need a one time download option so I can move the updates to the laptop.
When are you going to make the updates to the Gold Edition or Dark Avatar avalable without haveing to go thouht Stardock Central?
The only thing I have a problem with right now is that you are going to only have the packs on-line. I can only pay with money order. Unless you make that a option then I can not get any of the packs.
