So does anyone know if this happens in every game? Doesnt the AI get uber designs? Seeing as how theres very little complaining about this bug on the forum, I wonder, do people just settle for the core designs and dont design their own ships? Designing your own must surely make em ~50% less efficient when compared to the crazy designs the auto-designer pumps out (+50-70% more efficient)?

Fixing the auto design issue is a must imo. Not sure if it was mentioned in this thread before, but having the autodesign create uber ships really gotta be fixed :) Please ^^

Also experienced this. As an evil race I was doing ok flipping planets, once I built the mind control wonder, NOT A SINGLE PLANET flipped, EVER They could have (25.0) influence for several years and still they refused to flip. Thats just.. wrong I had 15 planets with revolt icon for 3 years, none of

Ye darkmatter its possible we'll see a better AI with that option, but still it should know what to do with bonus tiles And not putting too much morale/culture improvements. That doesnt require it to reevaluate continously. Then if we want the AI to replace and change its planetary improvements due to the state of the galaxy or its situation more often, then yes that would prolly require more AI thin

This part at least is easily explained. After a certain point, your entire spending is diverted into your treasury to pay off your debt, so it looks like you're getting more money. In reality, your spending controls have been forcibly and invisibly set to 0. Yeah you get all your potential income put into your treasury when it cuts all spending

Yes Im brining this up again to make sure its taken seriously and help out any way I can This is a screenshot of an Altarian planet I just invaded. Gigantic galaxy, everything abundant (more planets = harder AI, it can afford to screw up more ), Crippling difficulty and 9 AIs (+125% AI bonus), playing as Yor. As Ive seen countless times before, this is a prime example of how

I enjoy playing on slowest cause I like my games "Epic" As Marcathonas says it does force you to really think about what you research since usually it takes (once you get going) 4+ turns for "normal" techs (i.e, techs that arent too cheap or too expensive for you at the moment). Im really enjoying it and I doubt I'll ever play much on normal or god forbid fastest <img src="http://images.stardoc

I had to stop using multiple designs cause of this, it got really annoying when the list filled up (accessing from galaxy map) with obsolete constructs. Also my new designs get faulty appearance (If I had Cruiser Mk I from a previous game and I made a new Cruiser Mk I in a new game, the new Cruiser Mk I would appear to have lasers etc when I actually fitted it with plasma) What I did to "fix" this is, I went into my documents folder (WITH Galciv 2 running), deleted the ship designs I d

Been playing a game on gigantic with 9 AIs at Genius difficulty level. Its given me some challanges but as usual I speed way ahead in research in mid-late game. I have noticed some really annoying things which probably breaks the AIs game immensely. When checking up on the AI planets, I notice that some AIs (especially Thalan and Korx) have planets with around 5-10 morale and 4-8 culture improvements, no research and barely any factories. And its not just one or two planets, its a
