Same thing happening here. Not sure if its just the display or the stats are acutally changing.

I started up a new game, normal galaxy as altarians and discovered that my homeworld had neither a colony or a starport on it. Didn't seem to affect gameplay, except that I couldnt build ships to start with, but it was definitly weird. http://img357.imageshack.us/my.php?image=weird1st.jpg

Had the game CTD after trying to save a fully modified custom race. Tested it twice and the same thing occured. I've sent an email with the zipped exception. Has anyone else encountered this and is there anything else I can do to help?
