Thanks for the info. None of the desktop icons for gc2 gold edition work properly. So I have gone into gc2 folder and found app and made new ones and can now access gc2 and gc2 avatar. What chaps me is I played the gc2 gold edition demo without any problems at all, but I buy the game and all I have had is problems. Weird
Fantastic, gc2launcher.exe opens but will not respond when I hit "play the game". When I press "manual" first I get Vista saying can not find then it loads. I found that the desktop shortcut created by the game to play gc2 doesn't work so I went o folder and created a shortcut that works and can play gc2. However I am unable to play Dark Avatar. Also when I added cheat to end of target in properties I find the cheat ctrl +y does not work. So what gives?&nbs

I just bought GC2 Gold Edition and run Windows Vista 32 with Nvidia drivers 158. GC2launcher opens but I am unable to play the game. Any suggestions will help? I am not using a laptop. Thanks in advance
Ok I did the updates and gc2launcher.exe opens but that's all it does is open. When I click Play the game nothing happens. Any further suggestions or places to go for help would be appreciated? Again Thanks
Hi, I just bought from Walmart, Galactic Civilizations II Gold Edition. Does Windows Vista and Nvidia have problems with GC2? I've installed GC2 but when I try to play Vista tells me GC2launcher.exe fails. Any suggestions? Thanks I run Vista on Desktop pc and am updating GC2 Gold now and my drivers are the latest provided by Nvidia. Again Thanks
