What are these hyperion starbase modules in the last 4C beta update?
spiceant
I always put tech trading off
Me the yor, the drengin and my ally the korath were playing a game and the plague struck all of us. I invented the medicine quickly, but they never bothered to even try researching it. The drengin ended the game by surrendering to the korath, but at that point they both didn't have much more then 10 billion people, down from 200.
im thinking of the same kind of thing as in https://forums.galciv2.com/index.aspx?AID=141466#1110661 Not half-baked get a lot of sensor ships kind of thing
Does anyone know how to watch the ai fight eachother and be capable of seeing every detail (Like what Brad sometimes does to watch his algorythms at work)
i like it keep it up
The ai rarely uses more then 1 type of weapon so i get some defense components and a 2nd weapon type and it becomes really easy from there. suicidal is only rarely hard, like when my colonys flip to some minor race like the I-league
thanks stardock, i hope suicidal difficulty wont be as easy this time and ill be hoping to do some crazy ship designing to! regards
im playin a game as the thalans on suicidal difficulty with max research and diplomacy as the populists (+20% diplo/morale), i build every diplomacy trade good and wonder myself (including the galactic bazaar) and im having no trouble buying everything off ais, keeping my enemys at war and making minor races extinct so the aliens can build up mining starbases to sell them to me. One time the UN came by and forced me to share all of my techs, that
I was thinking which caused me to come up with an idea instead of a field of squares in the colony manager you can choose to see how many squares are not being used or build upon, how many squares of those have +100% of this and how many have 100% of that, then you could select the type of tile you whish to build on and choose wether to build something on it which removes it from the useable tile list untill you cancel the project or dec
Hello again everyone, i now consistently beat suicidal difficulty ais with any race on any settings on gigantic sized maps with common stars/planets and slow tech rate. The latest game im playing is with the altarians (default settings) using the universalist party. and im finding the game to become a drag as it takes about 10 seconds min to finish the turn (because of my computers performance) waiting for some years to pass so the metaverse score will
as the good races i always pick evil choices and i can still choose good for no cost at all when i research xeno ethics which seems contradictionary.
is this a bug or feature?
i download a lot of games before i buy them because from my experience a lot of games either dont run well or are really really blown up in previews after that i get the whole game so i can play without being bothered by anything. but i had the confidence in stardock that galciv2 would be good off the fly and atleast untill now it lives up to that expectation.
stardock said they might be going to add the dread lords as a playable race in sandbox mode (and hopefully metaverse to), they use organic ships
that sounds pretty stupid because you arent running 100% spending on average at all i manage my economy so that i earn money at 100% (30/50/20) or (50/20/30), allowing me to trade money for diplomatic advantages (getting wars declared, peaces made and starbases). i do make a lot of economy starbases to make up for the lesser production, but in dire times i can go research or production frenzy by quickly cranking out factorys everywhere.
im kindof disappointed by it because as a good guy i always pick evil choices and can still choose the good alignment costlessly. the alignment armor and weapons are extremely costy and make the ships they are put on very very costy not making them very very much better then their weaker but cheaper counterparts combined. 2 laser is not 2 times as good as 1 damage to, because the 1 damage almost always does 1 damage but the 2 damage has a chance to do only 1 damage even though it has
will it be possible to delete the bugged up games so they dont contiminate your score?
i posted 2 games on a gigantic map with 9 ais on genius level, however under the metaverse it says i played on normal difficulty (for referance, the 2 thalan games i played) i do have the endgame for the last thalan game but i need some place to host it as its 6.7mb
how i see 1.0X changelog: +the ai now poses a ''challenge'' on its genius level +couple of bug and rough edge fixes
if you focus lots of production in one place it means it can produce things at a few items per month even on 20% procuction but im really just admiring the shiny blue reply button
How come i have a human icon while i only submitted Yor games? i want a yor icon or a drath icon, anythin but human edit: it shows the human icon when i look up my character in the metaverse or in the meta-in game
Occasional amount of planets, habitable planets, stars and anomalies. Tight clusters with slow tech rate on a large map playing as the yor against humans, torians, altarians, drengin, korx and iconians against intelligent ai (tough difficulty)
i just posted it in the galciv II -> strategy section edit: of the neotechgaming forum
I have played galciv2 non-stop for 4 days now, i did not play beta. I have developed a way of how i play the game. In this guide i will try to teach you how i think the early game is best played. I believe i have the validality to write a guide to be red and learned from because i manage to beat ais consistently on their intelligent settings, look me up under my 'spiceant' alias in the metaverse. I assume you have a general idea about how to play, you are playing on a
