Sorry bad juju, I was exaggerating a bit, but certain distros of Linux are really hard to install. For example, Yellow Dog on my iMac was relatively easy, but the sound doesn't work, and there are other things in the way. And in all honesty, it did take quite a while to get set up. I really liked all the ideas, except for the last one. I think that by getting that intimate with the operating system, you're asking the developers to basically provide an ultra-stable kernel with a friendly front end that lets you choose what add-ons you want. Those kinds of things are great for say the ways to view icons, but when you get deeper, you're just cutting into the space that is for the developers and company to place it's ideas. <BR
