The game started out perfectly with no hitches, but recently it's been freezing every couple of hours, and it keeps that behavior until I restart. This is exactly the problem I had with The Witcher until I did a few things, and now that game runs perfectly. Following this post is the exact things I did that fateful day, and I was wondering if anyone with more technical experience than may can maybe see something about a setting I edited that would cause this game to mess up. T
I just wanted to second a major suggestion, one I didn't see mentioned again: [I]Quick diplomacy fix: make everyone start as neutral instead of shoot on sight. This would make the current diplomacy system useable atleast. You would have to declare war before your ships start shooting others down. Be sure the AI doesn't exploit it too.[/I] That would be perfect.
Like, I'm patrolling the entire galaxy, basically picking off the remaining Thalan ships one by one. They have like 20 plantes left though, and they are pretty much dead in the water. I also own like 50% of the galactic influence and many Thalan planets are in my influence range. What are some tips for me here? Other than spend time building transports and capturing planets one by one. There isn't a force surrender option in diplomacy, is there?
