Does Steam maintain stats like Stardock did? I tried to submit a game and it did not take...
Tregonsee
It appears that there is no change, I just tried to submit a new game, it did not work. I got no error message
I just played a game and cannot seem to submit it. It is not as if this was my first galciv I game...
Well, the galciv1.com site is down again.
Just to let you know, I can now log on to the GalCiv1 site, but cannot post scores. So at least this is progress.
When you trade and get tech by conquest, that is considered to be obtained. Same as what happens when there is the big tech trade from the United Planets vote (if you are lucky enough to get it). But I still have a problem: I now can get to the GalCv I website, but cannot log on, so I cannot post in the forums nor post metaverse scores.
But I am referring to access to the web site and Metaverse there
It also will not let me post GalCivI scores on metacers. I can see scores, but that is all. This has happened 2-3 times in the past. Is it the same problem each time?
Kicked? I can bring up the site now, but it will not let me log on.
It still is not working and I tried accessing when I was in another state as well. What does my trace route say?
It appears that the site is gone or there are excessive timeouts. Could the administrators check on this or give an explanation? One cannot get to galciv.com either.
Actually, it is back down again. If this continues, I won't be able to submit my next game...
I am one of those old gamers who prefer GalCiv I over GCII. I finished a game and was going to post in Metaverse, but not only could I not post my game, but the whole website was unavailable. What gives?
test, never had a personal icon on posts before
OK thanks. Are there any other differences between Metaverse between GalCiv I and GalCiv II?
I was playing a game, forgot that I had not created my character. I stopped playing, chreated my character, and finished my first game. The game did not load to my character. What did I do wrong?
While I do not want true multiplayer, I really would like "hotseat" multiplayer for GalCiv II. This would allow me to play more than one race, or me and a friend could really gang up on the rest of the universe. I would think that a hotseat option would not cost much more, and preserve many of the things that are great about GalCiv II. You do not have to have the sharing aspects of artifacts/wonders like Civ IV, if that is a cost factor. Maybe this sugesstion should be a new thread
