Any more ideas? I'm a little stumped...

Are you running Vista (pre-Vista-release versions of SDC had issues with the register products dialog like you describe)? If so, you may just need to get the latest version of SDC . Otherwise, or if that doesn't work, you can also go straight to the Games section of the register dialog by right clicking on GC2 (or any game) in the main screen, then choosing Register Pro

In Stardock Central, select Games and then click on Registration Info in the lower right corner. Select Dark Avatar (Expansion Pack) from the Product dropdown (it appears directly under GalCiv II). Then type your Gold Edition serial into the Serial Number field and click Register. I'll try that when I get home. thanks! Okay, this is what I'm running into now. There is no product for Gal Civ II

I do have an Nvidia card, a 7800 GT. I'll just keep sitting tight for Nvidia to get this figured out! I am not sure how to register the entire game (Gal Civ II GOLD), I just right-clicked on DA itself as it already showed up that I have an installed and legit copy of Dread Lords. How do I do that?
I looked through the sticky, none of it addresses my specific concern. I purchased Dark Avatar from a retail outlet and installed both the original game as well as DA on my newly installed system (I'm using Vista, in case it matters). I already owned an electronic copy of GalCiv II through Stardock, but I wanted to own the media on disc and since it came with DA, this seemed like a good opportunity. After installing the product, I see in the read me file I'm to use S
Hi, I am creating a new PC, the specs are (roughly) A8N-E board w/ AMD 64 6800+ 512mb (x2) PC3200 Dual Channel eVGA GeForce 7800GT 256mb 80 GB Western Digital SATA 8mb I'm having the strangest issue, where some software packages (including GalCivII) won't extract, citing an error in the CRC table or an incomplete download (neither of which are the case). I can install some things okay, I had no problem installing this: Nero Po
Sentences have 2 spaces after them, not one. FYI. Otherwise, this thread is probably a great idea!
I hope you guys consider publshing some of those for sites like Gamespot or IGN to host, they are VERY cool, and very well done. I am more excited about the game having seen them than before, and believe if others could view them, they wouldn't hesitate to click "buy it now"
If you pre-order the game from Stardock you get the Collector's Edition PLUS the ability to download it while you wait (you're given a temporary serial # while you wait for your package to arrive). What exactly comes with the collector's edition? I have a pre-order for the electronic DL version, but I'd much rather have a boxed copy of the gam
Hi! I recently read the journal detailing the small battle between the AI in an effort to tweak the AI, and I saw lots of shots of combat. How does combat work in this game? Is it like MOO2 in that it's ships taking a turn opening fire with equiped weapons, or is it more like MOO3 in that there are lots of ships flying around and attacking in real time with little input from the player? Any information on this would be great! Thanks!
I only just realized this game was in development, and am interested in pre-ordering for what looks like about 45 bucks, but if I pre-order tonight, will I still qualify to get in on the beta? I see the news post regarding this is several months old, so for all I know the beta is actually already underway. Thanks in advance!
