This also happens after a starport is detroyed by mass driver invasion. You can still build ships on the planet even without a starport.

Request: Confirmation windows on load and obsolete in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I'm not sure if this should go in Ideas or Bug Reports, so sorry if this is in the wrong place. Would it be possible to add confimation windows to the Obsolete and Load operations? More than a couple times I've obsoleted a design when I wanted to upgrade because the buttons are right next to each other. I've also made the mistake of loading instead of saving, which would have cost me an hour of play if it weren't for autosaving.

I have this problem too. It appears that there's a bug with "Upgrading" a ship design. The old design gets overwritten fine, but they still appear in the quick build screen and you can't obsolete them because they've been overwritten.
