hmmm... so no screen like what happened in MOO2 when ships went into battles where you can actually watch the battle occuring. of any 4x space sim, that's my favorite so far.. had hoped that MOO3 would've have been better but it failed not only in that area but pretty much everywhere else as well I'm not really looking for tactical battles where I control the ships (l

One of the things that I personally enjoy the most are ship to ship battles. NOW, I love GalCiv 1, still happily playing it BUT the ship to ship battles leaves a LOT to be desired imho. I really want to see immersive battles between ships AI's, I don't necessarily have to control the ships --- kinda like how MOO2 battles were but those were still top-down 2D view although with much more graphics and actual movement of ships while in battle that GalCiv 1 did not
