Aren't the maps galaxies already?

Yeah Civ 3 and maybe Civ 4 (I haven't played it)really sucks mp wise. GC doesn't need mp or tactical combat. If it did, it would be just another strategy game.
Some people just don't understand that they have to suspend disbelief to play a game. Exactly my thoughts.
I just wanted to know how the ship cost works. Is the cost only for when you buy a ship or when you build it?
Wouldn't it be best that no civ gets desroyed?
I never lose because the morale thing is totally gay. You can build virtual reality centers like crazy and set your tax to 80% and still have 95% approval. Us Canadians complain at 14% tax, now imagine getting $3000 monthly pay and having to give 2400 to uncle sam. Stardock should really look into this.
It would be pretty cool to have races that drift in and out of the galaxy to make the game more interesting. But I rarely have to fight pirates because I don't usually get the galactic prison.
I don't know I love the dialog myself. I had bad relations with the Yor and when I went to talk with them their first response was "We hate you." So that seems pretty realistic to me.
I've seen the computers strategy at the beginning of the game. They bankrupt themselves by putting their spending rate to 100% and start buying colony ships until they can't anymore then start building. They also build a starport first instead of a factory to get a head start.
I'm pretty sure it's made like that so the bonuses don't get too crazy.
I think people don't know what tactical battles are. They think RTS is tactical just because you can choose the target. Tactical is where you can play the role of a general and have options on what to do like an RPG like some people say. Tactical Combat like that would be even slower than RTS so it's really a crappy feature. But the ground combat could be a little better such as adding different vehicles and organizing your transports.
I've set the resolution too high and now when I start the game I don't have a screen; I can't lower it.
That would need scripting and Galciv2 is unscripted.
Are you starting the campaign before you're used to the game because that can be hard.
The trick to having a better military, economy ,tech and influence than the computer is to colonize anything you can regardless of the PQ because if you spend so much time looking for 26 class planets you'll never get anywhere. Colonize every planet in a solar system and assign each planet to a certain job. The front line planets (close to a civ) should be manufacturing and influence. So build mostly factorys and put a starport you could also put your manufacturing capitol there, focu
Whenever I click on a tile it sometimes says something completely random like when i click in the middle of the ocean it says prairie.Or in this case you click on soil and it says ocean.
Using the Yor or the Drengin you should pick evil because everyone hates you anyway and switching to good will cost too much. e.g I was playing as the Yor with my friend and we were picking all good but i still was considered demonic and cost 10000 to switch to good but it payed off as i was liked by all. But playing as the Torians or Terrans you should probably pick good. And when you choose your alignment do you lose all events? because I noticed after that nothing really was happening.
Multiplayer for galciv 2 would suck because i usually spend up to 20+ mins on a turn later in game. Plus human players will just find the easiest and cheesiest tricks to get rid of any players.I'd much rather play with a cpu which i can play with at my level than some 1337 H/-\XX0Rz . And what about the ship editor? Can someone actually wait for a person trying to make a capital ship? Seriously you're missing out on so much if you don't try GalCiv2 just because it isn't multiplayer.
You know that RAM has alot do with texture so maybe getting a RAM upgrade will do the trick.
