I'm of the school of thought that they should take whatever time they need. If they need the time, they need it. Unless we want to pay twice as much so they can hire twice the staff, we should expect a tenth of an increase in efficiency. Even a cheaply constructed game is a must buy (e. g. Supremacy: Four Paths to Power by matrixgames) if it has a hotseat multiplayer option. Hotseat is easy to implement with turn based strategy. MOO2 is a good example. I would ask that if a multiplayer expansion is developed for GalCiv II, please consider adding a hotseat multiplayer option. If an excelent game comes along with a hotseat option - how can a game be more then a must buy?
