I also agree with the general theme of everyones posts....The thing i hate most about games is when you can run through the campaign in about...oh....30 minutes. This game does present a challenge, and I love the non-linear aspects of the campaign. Just because you cannot beat the game the first time through does not make it abad game, in fact in my humble opinion, it makes it a better game.

I am pretty sure that you are misunderstandign the point of the relationship indicator when it comes to military rating. It is not telling you that you have a lower military rating...it is telling you that they are not getting along with you because of where your military rating is. probably higher then thiers. They basically don't like you becasue you could kick thier a** at any given time. If you want a snapshop of how you stack up militarily with t

Hey, I live right around the corner in Plymouth....I would love to hang out and show the town to anyone coming into the Detroit area....its really a nice area. I was thinking that Stardock should do some kind iof open house one day where you could come in and meet the devs. I am pretty sure we could raise enough i donations to cover pizza or subs for anyone who wants to attend.... Anyone out there have any thoughts or odeas on this???

I was also automatically shown and suggested to download the Beta, which I did not mind, but might throw someone for a loop.

Agree with everyone.... Starbases are VERY important early in the game, but thier difference wanes as time does on. i am wondering if you can get by without them at all?? I would say maybe only build them to boost production on your non-border worlds. Also the influence ones can be helpful at getting another civ to defect. That is about all i can come up with.

I was just wondering if in order to be successfull at the higher difficulties you have to be evil and take all of the evil choices? It would seem that would help because choosing evil always ends up helping you out in the long run. I was just wondering what peoples experiances are. When I look in the top scores section, it seems that everyone is "very evil." Opinions and thoughts please....

I don't understand becasue technically you are not docking them on the planet, they are in "orbit." Obviously the ship has its own life support system that feeds the people because you can keep them on the ship forever and they will not starve. So i would think that the population would be held in orbit and not affect the population of the planet one way or the other. Obviosly if you want to use a transport to build a up the population of one of your o

Does anyone know why the number sequence that comes after any given ship is so random??? I would think that the first of any given class produced would be number 1, the second number 2 and so on. But, it seems to me that the frist "Defender" will by 27, and the second 134, and so forth randomly. Is there is a reason for this??? Is there a way to change this so it accuratly reflects that number you have produced? Thanks

I like this idea, but there would ahve to be limits, othrwise a civ could never be fully conqured. I think it would be great for allowing a little bit of intrigue to seep back into the mid-game area. That way there would be a rush to colnize and develop new worls halfway into the game. It would also allow you to get a world behind enemy territory and produce a great base for attacking. I like the research meathod of getting there, but like I said, it w
