I suddenly have the greatest overwhelming feeling that this will work.
Just WB5. (I hate to bother you about this and appologize for asking, but do you have AIM? My screen name is: Chilling Karma. Maybe we can do a direct chat to make it easier?)
Stardock Central?
Ah, I'm sorry... It comes up on the icon tray as: WB5 (5.00 (build 49 x86)) If that's not the version then please show me how to get to it. I know, I'm very unintelligent. -.-
WB5 Read my earlier post, I can't even touch what's in the 'Appearance' area after clicking the tab because of the stupid error I get. It closes the window as soon as I click ok. I think this is what's been causing the problem all along.
My appologeez for the double-posts. It won't let me edit them
Ok, I right-clicked on it and hit 'stop'. Now what? Still no library... By the way, interesting thing. I right-click desktop, I hit 'properties' and then click the tab 'Appearance' and I get this error pop-up: Title: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe abnormal program termination. I then click ok and it closes the window automatically. Maybe this has to

It says this under Themes Description: Provides user experience theme management Status: Started Startup Type: Automatic Log On As: Local System
No really, tell me. You've had enough popcorn for today.
do you have 'Theme Services' enabled? Theme Services, where is that option?
Nope, nothing. WB5 officially dislikes me. The library still only has the default skins. (By the way, you guys like popcorn to much. lol) I unistalled the WB5 and restarted computer... Then I re-installed the fix, then restarted computer... Then I re-installed WB5 and (Take a guess) restarted computer... Windows loads up the next time and WB5 loads up with the skin it comes with, but still no library, just the 2 default skins. Ey, don't blame me, my compu
*long sigh* 4th time and 30th time restarting my computer to see if it works eh? Alright, lemme try agian. Hopefully my account doesn't close up on me telling me that my # of tries has reached it's limit.
*edited to kill my accidental double posting* ...So how is everyone? Great show we're having tonight.. Great show... By the way, we're having special guest star Bichur helping me with my WB5 problems with other guest stars helping as well. *Taps the cue cards on the table* ...Great show tonight we're haven'... Yah.. Oh by the way... I still don't have a library working pro
I downloaded + installed everything into the i386 directory like it askes. I did get pop-ups explaining that I'm replacing my files with outdated ones. I ignored them and installed everything correctly and restarted my computer. Still no library on WB5...
??? I still recieve, " The page cannot be found " from Neil's provided link. So now, it isn't fixed or for some reason it won't show up on my browser.
That link doesn't work... Yah, my computer is a HP Pavilion a375c. Processor: Pentium 4, 3.00 GHz, 512 MB of Ram. Hyper-Threading. Hard Drive: 142 GBs *You know what my video card is by now* I hope that helps if the computer specs information is needed.
Yes, I have the same problem. I just reinstalled WB5 for the 3rd time and made sure it went into the default directory it automatically provides for everyone. Just like Mulcifer, I get no error messages popping up at all. It says this under 'system information' in WB5 : WindowBlinds 5.0 System Information Report: STATUS : WB+ SRV+ HLP+ UI+ TRAY+ WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC. <
I've done that before I installed it in WindowBlinds 5 and had the same problem. I will try it agian and will let you know if I have the same problem.
Yah, I specified the folder to "WindowBlinds 5" as I was fearing that it might be one of the older version of WindowBlinds that may be interfearing. Though, I still unistalled that old one before I installed WindowBlinds 5. By the way, I've also noticed that it's not allowing me to change my toolbars or animations either. It will only work when I refresh these items by either restarting my computer or logging out. I figured out how to load a skin to actively work, but it still doe
Hello, I'm experiencing a problem after purchasing and installing WindowBlinds 5. I've restarted my computer plenty of times and have skin folders within the appriopate directory which is my folder "C:\Program Files\Stardock\Windowblinds5". It appears that none of the skins I've downloaded form WinCustomize and the skins WB5 comes with are not showing up on my list of skins, only the two original skins my compu
