So why does direct X 9.0c work on my card? Dxdiag shows no problems with it.

I have a strange problem with Galactic Civilization 2. When I bought the game, it crashed frequently, so I upgraded the video card drivers and got the game to stop crashing. However, I was having a stuttering problem with the in-game movies. I read on this forum, the turning off the anti-alias. This seemed to fix the movie problem, but now the whole screen flashes red during the game. Turning the anti-alias back on didn't fix the problem. What could be the problem? Here is the latest debu
