So the plan is to collect a list of bugs and go for a 0.6 by the 4th of March instead of just a quick 0.5a update for DA full. Things that are at the top of my hit list are: * release with an installer (to be able to install dreadlords or darkavatar configs... probably a hull-changes-only config too) * compress all the pngs with better options (smaller download) Lower down on the hit list are: * resize / centre all the models and make sure they have lots of hardpoi

Just noticed the full version of DA is up! I am downloading it at the moment... I assume the majority of 0.5 should work in DA full but hopefully I will have time on friday or saturday to polish 0.5 and update it for DA full. Oh and Spaxspore is still alive so there will be another media pack uploaded soon.

It could be that you have custom opponents in the game who are using old hull styles? If it isn't that then could you please send your debug.err to me via email .

The Vorlons and Shadows start with two planets in this version - a 40 and a 30. They seem to do ok in games I've played so far and really utilize those planets. The 100% bonuses in key areas probably help too. There is an alternate download link now if you're still having problems Whipsnapper (I won't be using Axifile again). Version 0.5 of the Babylon 5 mod will be released by the 28th Jan. This will only work if you are playing the Dark Avatar beta version of GalCiv2. After DA comes out on the 14th Feb I will focus on the tech tree. Icewyng has offered to help flesh out the weapon and defense techs with lots of ideas from the B5 Wars and Call to Arms boardgames. The plan is to have enough detail to make racial tech branches really work... and release a really polished DA version (0.6!) by the end of feb.<b

Yeah I have run in to that... but am yet to hunt down where the glitch creeps in (number 1 on the todo list) It only happened to some of the races and there was some other slight weirdness in the raceconfig screens - some races would use the right hull in the colony ship preview but when you go to the appearance tab there was no style selected. Haven't played the latest beta release but it's probably something we are doing wrong anyway <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smile

Hey Renfl, always happy to share info - will post some detailed stuff on modding the new hull style system soon... have to admit I have been a little distracted by Neverwinter Nights 2 this month Maybe we could work out a rough release timetable for mods? Say every two months, on alternating months (so there is a Trek or B5 release monthly)?

If you play the game in cheat mode and press ctrl+v a UP meeting will be forced. There is a list of shortcuts at the galciv2 wiki here , very handy for testing things
