Ambrose is the only sovereign that actually has a "history." The rest have "talents" but no "history". The sovereigns missing histories are Calis, Nym, Xander, and Geni

I've been seeing this bug for quite some time, since the first version.
yup...it's confusion that is doing it...but that isn't what the documentation says confusions hould be doing.
Heh, this could also be the spell "Confusion" malfunctioning.
I can post a screenshot if you'd like, but this is easily reproduced. The tactical "fear" spell is reducing the enemy's attack value by -20, not the morale value.
A 32-bit process (like Elemental: War of Magic is) can only use 2GB of RAM, regardless of if you are running 64bit windows or running lots of RAM. This is most likely a slow memory leak that takes a long time to hit the 2GB limit.
Thanks kryo and GreenReaper. The drivers solved the problem. I thought I was current, but Toshiba had never approved the new ones. Thanks!
Debug.err here: http://pastebin.ca/1931598 After just a little while playing with 1.07, i get hard lockups that require my computer to be powercycled. I'm willing to submit any information as required to get this solved. Thanks
I posted a link to the save game file. I had to zip it to get the webserver to allow it to be downloaded. I'm to a point where clicking the "end turn" button does nothing. I hope this file gives you some insight. Thanks!
There is no difference between Brown Horse Mount, Black Horse Mount, or the Wog Rider mounts.
I should say *in the shop* there is no difference. You can buy all and it doesn't tell you which one you can or can't equip, yet they all have the same stats.
Quoting starriderOU, reply 2About the horses, I've researched mounted units and had the resource, but still couldn't build mounted units. What am I missing? It depends on what you're playing. Kingdom or Empire. If you are an empire, you cannot use horses, you use Wargs. If you are a kingdom, then you use horses instead of wargs. Not sure how this happened, and the -35 number doesn't affect my overall total of food (it's stuck in the HUD.)
Since each housing improvement takes food, it sounds like since you just captured a bunnch of cities it "subtracted" the food cost of those houses from your total. puts his "stupid user" hat on...apologies to the programming staff if the following aren't really bugs Possible bugs (these act most like bugs): Typo in the bottom HUD for "X turns to Spell Level 8", it says "X turns to level &" (ampersand). I could post a screen shot, but I'd have to get back to level 7 in spells. After a certain point in military research, at nearly every level I get the message "due to our military research, we ca
I wonder if the overheating is due to some calls in DX9. I've had severe overheating problems on my NVIDIA mobile card in my laptop under 64-bit windows under Civilization 4 to the point it is unplayable and I get a hard lockup. Is Elemental running on a DirectX 9 engine? Makes me wonder at the possiblities...

I couldn't for the life of me figure out why I couldn't connect to Stardock's IRC from home. Turns out, at least with the central region's cox DNS server, irc.stardock.com resolves to the incorrect IP. I'm not sure what stardock can do, but I wonder if this is playing havoc with Political Machine 2008. The CORRECT IP is 38.98.152.138. However, look at nslookup below: C:\>nslookup irc.stardock.com Server: cdns1.cox.net Address: 6
Hrm...I can connect from mibbit but when i try logging in from my local machine I get the "Connected to irc.stardock.com, logging in...." then nothing.
I wasn't sure what place to post this... It seems the IRC server is down. I can't connect via Impulse (chat) or through other IRC clients. I connect then I'm booted. Just FYI
It isn't returned to the treasury, it is automatically redirected to military production on a planet not building any social improvements.
Then the anomaly should be changed or something, if weaponless ships aren't allowed XP. I've personally witnessed this bug as not affecting experience.
Being an outsider can be a good thing. Too many industries and companies suffer from "groupthink", and the gaming industry is no exception. Whether it be copy protection or ignoring low-end hardware, or sticking to old development models, people get caught up in "that's the way it has always been done" and never think outside the box. Stardock's strengths lie not in doing what everyone else does, but seeing the opportunities in being different and unique. I still can run Galciv2 on a
This is something that I have wanted for a while, but there is somethign to be said about the simplicity of the governments as they are. In Civ4, it's hard to know what combination of government features work best when...and if you have spies you always know war is coming if an opponent switches to a specific combo of governments. If this could be done in a way that didn't over complicate the system, I'd definately be for it.
ah, so get my alignment before i do discoverysphere research
