I'm really sick at the moment, so I'm going to make this short...and go sleep. What do I get with the Collectors Edition that I don't with the regular edition? In game (new ship parts), and out of game (posters). Also, if I preorder the game online, say from Stardock directly...am I still going to get a DVD at some point? Thanks. *passes out*
I like the fluff you guys added to the races! In Galactic Civilizations 1, I thought of the Arceans as neutral (non-warlike), very passive. I thought of the Drath sort of like orks in Warhammer 40k, very warlike but dumber than the Drengin...and the Korx as passively benevolent. Boy was I wrong, three times. However, I like the added depth that has been added to the races.
I know I'm being picky, but Galactic Civilization 2's interface seems to have been smoothed out, so it's all curvey and antialiased and nice etc. However, I noticed that the minimap is still very blocky near influence edges. Is there a reason they kept it like that? It's a small presentation issue, but it'd be cool if they were smooth like they are in game as well.
