Well, the scores for each game are the same. The average is what you get for a total. For example look at Suralle. Lots of games, almost all above normal so a "bonus" in score is probably there. But his ranking is only in the 30's. Link Suralles the king of bling though! As far as players old scores. No we should not delete them if they have been gone forever even. I mean, lets look back

Bump, Every one of my planets had this bug today. Has to be a wire crossed between planet quality selection in the ability area and using neutral bonus early in the by researching the xeno ethics and getting all the tiles. Which brings up the other shortage... neutal gets no added defenses or weapons, yet its still mentioned. And now the tile shortage... Someone please take a peak at this. Makes it hard playing neutral, doable still, but harder than if I flip
I dunno, the only thing I see MV wise that needs to be done is the total recalculation, not just partial. The score I had was hurt hard by the recalculation as I had only a couple of the betas that were not counted in, as I keep up with the changes to the game, whether I like them or not. I second the lets get the rest of the games recalculated. Thirdly would some kind soul take a look at the bonuses being applied to the above normal scores. Thanks W/R<br/
Bump + add... No kidding, I just researched Ultimate Mini Tech and actually lost a size overall! My large cruiser went up to 110 but with everything I had on it... it now is rated at 111, or 1 over! Comon dev, I have said this before in other posts awhile back. Someone needs to take a serious whack at mini techs. To spend 10 weeks researching ultimate and lose a spot overall is not satisfactory its frustrating. Overall all 1.2 beta 11 is doing fine

Speed matters a lot, yes. But +1 speed doesn't matter much when your ships have 10-20 speed anyway Totally concur, torwards the portion of the game when I can and are typically able to build these wonders I simply don't bother as I already have two or three small hyperwarp drives giving me 13 to 20 speed as it is. I take mass drivers after beam, don't know why, just do. I feel that the nano ripper has got a really bum rap in the past. The cost in maintenance should have equal'd out to the power down of the weapon at 6 but hey, not my call. As a point of interest, I have a working Dell 610 with 32MB of video ram. I disable quite a bit of the video extras and run the game pretty clean. Once in a great while I will get some jerkiness but it cleans itself up (pretty sure its page swapping in the HD) usually when I am ship designing. I remember that "Frogboy" stated he was running GC2 on a very similar laptop, as mine. Not sure of exact specs. I use Omegas drivers vice ATI though so that may help but I doubt it. <br

Well, the obvious thing, well at least for me anyways, was to play shorter duration MV games and post them if I didn't have to reload. Well, good news. Last two games were won. Scores went up and no cheat code flags. If your a MV junkie like me. Play shorter duration games for now. Found the reason for this and fixed it "Sound the fanfare!" Althought I should let you know that it was an 89 to 1 kill ratio today. Perhaps we should start working on the ground pounders next for the same reason as the fleet. Remember "Fleet does the flying, marines do the dying." W/R Suralle
Sounds like another way for espionage to work in my mind. I to have noticed that when I have at excess amount of cash in a game I see yellow and green back and forth. Not the save portion that gets ya. Its the reload. Awhile back when folks reloaded a saved game somehow the game doubled all the ability scores if you were playing a metaverse game if I remember right. So instead of 25% soldiering skill... you end up with a 50% bonus. Well a few reloads and your a freaking god playing on suicide... So, cheat scores were enabled. Than... At another time it was noted that some races automatically put you into the red when you chose them

I uh don't do any of those. I wait true, but its almost last minute, nothing but colony ships and constructors. When I play tech trade on or off. Most of the time I don't do military until the same nation asks for a bribe twice. Now that I have totally deleted (uninstalled from SDC) totally deleted mygame subdirectory, than reinstalled the entire 1.2 beta.. For the neigh sayers, please remember that for every one person who asks for something another dozen have thought of it but are to afraid to ask. Espionage screen will show their technologies if you have spent enough cash and have the right levels. and/or If you have technology trade enabled (startup screen) by opening a dialog with the race from the "diplomacy" screen will show their techs available for trade. All things being not equal the best advantage a racial trait can be is the population trait. Especially in the start of the game, helps additionally in the invasion arena also. More folks more taxes. Espionage should affect the following: 1) Price on buying off another race to start a war, after all, you know whos who and who votes which way. 2) Knowing what vote is coming up in the UP, not when - thats simple, what. 3) Affecting income, yours and their, successful spy attempts should net money, influence points, and/or techs not just techs. 4) A better chance at intercepting those infrequent random events, such as these colonists are in a drought or this mining col

Yes, I "two" had MV score problems this weekend. One was on a win with the Altarian of all races, noted that I was a cheater on it, and you all know how hard it is for me to conclude a game on gigantic, why would I ever want to have a cheat score on top of it... Second was a win with the your friendly Drengin, this time the posting had an error 16 (not sure) so checked serial number, got email, changed serial, attempted to post score got an error 12 (different serial number than MV).
Where to start, New combat works well both ways in that my ships around or in orbit around planets are definitely tougher. So are theirs, however I still achieved a 8 to 1 kill ratio despite the flaw in the new combat. In that it seems that at a majority of the times when I can not finish off a fleet I am attacking in the first round not all of my ships can fire in the second round or subsequent rounds.
