IconPackager definitely doesn't work right now. Unfortunately, all my icons are toast after upgrading a Vista Ultimate 32-bit machine to Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit.
Its your mistake dilmonen for upgrading over your existing Vista. It is never recommended you do that no matter how good the beta. Especially where no company has officially said their software works correctly on Win7. I like the direction that Win7 is going and it is very usable. Interesting to read Frogboys no

I really like Windows 7, though I don't dislike Vista like many people seem to. Also I like the superbar, its not too big in my opinion. Now on a small screen I guess, but otherwise it isn't so big that its annoying. I don't know if I really like the launching and open programs thing that way though. Of course I use ObjectDock not the taskbar in Vista, so it doesn't really matter what they do to the taskbar. I did have one issue when I upgraded the Nvidia driver for my card, upon reboot the
I love JJ Yings Zing as well, it does add zing your desktop. I keep trying other blinds but usually go back to Zing after awhile. Agree on the other pics but except for Aero Executive I haven't used.
I wondered why I wasn't seeing anything new. Its odd that there was no message posted about it being down. I check here daily I would have seen it. Oh well glad its back.
I don't have much to comment on the list, but overall seems good. However I disagree with one small part mentioned in no. 4 (although I don't think we'll see much info overall about next gen consoles this year). You mentioned blu-ray but aside from Sony I don't think it will be a factor in the consoles that are created next. I can't see MS going that direction and doubtful Nintendo(since they don't have HD this gen). I think blu-ray is dead. The consoles will go
I can't believe the 1st clue is so hard this time as well. I have absolutely no idea but apparently some do.
Stuck on 3rd clue. Dang these are hard, have to know the site perfectly to find anything after the 2nd clue.
The third one stumped me, but oh well at least I could play this time, not like how it was first run.
I wish I could play to see how far I get even after someone has already won it. I can't do it till I get home from work and by then its too late. Really a disappointment in that regard. I'd like to win but I know with my hours that isn't possible, but at least let me play.
Would help if the title of the thread had the correct webpage, I went there without the last 'g', thought you were trying to be slick lol. Might want to fix that.
When I got my still-sweet Dell XPS 710 a couple years ago, I was disappointed to discover that the original BootSkin app didn't fly on Nvidia motherboards. Is this still the case with the new BootSkin Pro? I'd test it myself, but I've yet to upgrade to Vista. Thanks!
Bootskin Pro is only for Vista, you need to use the old Bootskin for XP. I've never had an issue on any pc with Bootskin XP but alas now I have Vista so can't help you there.
I am sure they are working on animating it somehow but at least its a start.
So nice to have Bootskin for Vista now, only need an animation ability and will be all set. Everything updated fine as well.
I think this would be cool not only for dreams but for other skins that either have animation or parts in it that do different things not always possible to show in a static screenshot.
Very nice look to it.
Very nice!! I'm very excited about this, though do wish it had some animation.
The past couple of times I have run SDC's skin browser and checked for new or updated skin it came up blank, yet when I checked the website there were quite a few. Is this broken? Or is it simply phased out? I've always liked the skin browser but due to its current omission from Impulse and lack of mention at all really I am assuming it isn't that popular a feature. Bummer.
Awesome!! I've been waiting for Vista Bootskin, very excited. Even though I don't re-boot a whole lot, since I do dual boot I end up seeing the boot a lot and the Vista one is so boring. Ya stardock.
I lost them as well but I don't recall updating OD+ anytime recently. I only recall opening Impulse and it updated. Perhaps it updated OD+ and I didn't know it? Unsure but trying the fix which seems to work from what I am reading.
From what I have read it covers only the maximizing type of dock when you hover over it with the mouse. But even that I'm sure Stardock can fight.
The install was flawless through Impulse on Vista. So perhaps isolated through XP and SDC?
Very nice. I liked the past Halloween versions, but this is a change of pace. Good work.
Sounds terrific about the Bootskin Vista. I was curious though what Stylevista was exactly. Personally I don't see the big deal with Fences. It seems nice if you usually have lots of clutter on your desktop which I do not understand because the desktop isnt' avaiable when you have windows open. Yes you can click show desktop, but seems an inefficient manner of storing links, etc. Admittedly Fences will help there, but I still think there are better
I can't get it to work with multiple desktops either Philly0381 and I'm on Vista, so I imagine they will not have tackled that issue yet. If there is a work around I haven't seen it. Not that it matters much my desktop is usually blocked, but some darn fine dreams have been released that I don't end up using as I have more than one monitor. Still always nice to see updates to it.
Skinning using WindowsBlinds makes it revert to a Windows Basic theme, and the tabs stop being part of Aero's glass. The word Google in the title bar remains at its position. Controls become like Windows 9x. Borders are skinned, but nothing else is. Glass skins may overlap the tabs, and borders seem to create gaps at the sides.
I have it running in Vista and it skins the min, max, close buttons just fine, mine doesn't revert
