congrats to the winners. i also don't agree with the results, but there's no use bitching about it now. nothing will change. besides, it's not over yet. there's still the overall and user's choice categories. i wonder how you guys will react when you win in those.
i can't believe d-reliction didn't get even fifth in this category... it is a lot more polished both graphically and coding-wise (though i believe the graphic aspect has more weight in this category) than 80% of the skins in this competition. still, congrats to the winners.
features != creativity. that's what the power user category is for. that's why i made my choices purely from the aesthetic merits of the skin, not on the usability or extra features.
breeders completely own this category (jasonl's on breed too, right?) 1 - machina 2 - enkera 3 - d-reliction p.s. emp-2 is not entered into this category.
i'm sure we'll see more submissions in the winamp category next week
