Females

Females

Anti-Feminist Strategy-First

Ive noticed that through Galactic Civilization their has NEVER, been a female Altarian, Drengin, Human especially, etc.
In GalCiv2 I notice the same linear. How about adding Ambassadors or for Galactic reports a member of your species is in that position that is atleast, not wearing explicit attire and is female of cros, but maybe going over the line of Explicit, Cleaveage isn't a bad idea, right CariElf?

I dont think Strategy First is aiming for players to believe that when their a space-faring Empire that has a monopoly literally on Beams and Point-Defense that their society although Democratic is Male-Dominat or that is what I will only experince, right community?

Even though the art and pronouns are artificial, gender does matter. It reinforces a message in our society that women aren't truly welcome or expected in positions of power. I'm sure adolescent females do play this game. I wouldn't want to send a message to anyone's daughter that there's a glass ceiling. That's why it matters.

Of course, it's a slippery slope. Why stop at gender? Why not ethnic affiliation or religion? And if we do include females, how will they look?

In most of the animal kingdom, female is default. Males were created when sexual reproduction arose. And for most species, males are the "pretty", colorful ones, especially birds. And Lassie, with his beautiful coat, was a male. There are tribes in Africa and Oceania in which males adorn themselves with special clothing and cosmetics to land a female, and females don't where special clothing or cosmetics at all.

Why should female avatars wear makeup or heels? Why shouldn't male avatars wear pants that highlight the package?

Next step: Why are none of the leader figureheads black? Must mean stardock is racist too, right?

Um...... you actually believe that there are a bunch of females of a species running round waiting for a male to evolve to mate? I don't quite know how to reply to that complete falsehood.

Let's be perfectly clear here.... that has never happened in the history of evolution on our planet. There are species that use asexual reproduction.... but that doesn't make them female, it makes them both.

Back on topic. Use your imagination and ALL of the non human looking aliens could be females, perhaps the question should be reflected back upon yourself.... why do you assume that they are all men?
