Last person to post wins, unless they are a moderator or admin.

Basically, this game is played so that the last person who post wins. What do they win? The ThreadKiller's Achievement; The honor of being the last person to post by virtue of the content of their post. However, moderators, admins, and anyone else who has the ability to lock the thread are disqualified from winning the ThreadKiller's Achievement, if they win by locking. If the thread is won by method of locking, the "winner" gains the Achievement Of Reprehensible Epic Lameness.

Civilization V review is up on IGN. Score 9.0!!

Does this mean the end for Elemental multiplayer? (Reminder IGN scored Elemental with a 6.0)

Quoting Draakjacht, reply 7793
Funny bringing up the farmer's market in that mix. Not something I would think of off the top of my head. Then again, I did meet a chick at one. Darndest thing.
End of Draakjacht's quote

A stripper in a tiara does not constitute royalty.

Alright that's enough random quotes for a while.

That sig is perfect for no other reason than that quote has nothing to do with what you said.

All four of those statements were random quotes, the first two from games (I'm not sure which) the third from Fiona in Burn Notice and the last from the black guy I don't remember the name of in Human Target

random is cool

okay... why did you quote me?

y not?

didn't think I was that quotable. And even if I did, I would pick another quote.

well that would be you

well... yeah, that would be me. I dunno, I think I would be a good judge of my own quotes. I mean, if I know it felt too casual or even weird when I said it, then wouldn't I have at least a little say in how good of a quote it is?

I guess

but others have their own opinions and may at times disagree with how you view your own quotes

Some were like me and were just being complete jerks.

speaking of yes men

that reminds me of the vicar of dibley ( an older british comedy show for those that do not know).

british comedy is great, will have to check that one out

Well, even the jerks aren't going to bother critically shredding his stuff unless they like it. At least not in the way he cares about. Someone could say his book sucks and he would leave it be. It's when you tell him what his book means that he got pissed.

the reason it reminds me of the vicar of dibley is that there are two caracters in the show (one a lot more frequent than the other) that have a speach issue where they start speaking with either "no no no no no no no no no no no' or 'yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes' and then say the rest of their lines.

meanings are pointless except to the one who has discovered that meaning

but that's his point. Everyone who talks about what his stories mean forget two things. 1) The meaning is only for the self. Telling someone else your meaning potentially screws up the story for them. 2) He established in the Foreword of Huckleberry Finn that he didn't want anyone analyzing the book. We all know someone will do it, but at the very least I would like to think they would take a hint and keep it to themselves.
