Last person to post wins, unless they are a moderator or admin.

Basically, this game is played so that the last person who post wins. What do they win? The ThreadKiller's Achievement; The honor of being the last person to post by virtue of the content of their post. However, moderators, admins, and anyone else who has the ability to lock the thread are disqualified from winning the ThreadKiller's Achievement, if they win by locking. If the thread is won by method of locking, the "winner" gains the Achievement Of Reprehensible Epic Lameness.

closer to, well it's an okay piece of music but I'm not into that kind of music

lol treat your mother right, or Mr. T is going to get you

My favorite Mr. T moment was on Conan O'Brien's 10th anniversary special.

Mr. T gave Conan a gold chain with a number 7 attached to it.  Conan laughed and said, Mr. T, we've been on the air for 10 years.  Of course, Mr. T being awesome said I know that fool, but you've only been funny for 7!

Classic piece of comedy gold right there.

Mr. T was epic

That may have been the hardest character to replace in the A-Team movie but they did the best they could

Yeah, the problem with replacing Mr. T is both his personality and very much his unique look. Anything else looks like an all too obvious carbon copy. But if you're going to do a remake, it's the risk you gotta take.

And welcome to the man who decides to butcher Pink Floyd with a Star Wars reference.

lol didn't connect that with Star Wars myself to be honest, many sci-fi stories use the wordage of starship

Figured it was Star Wars cause of the use of Dark Side and the light on the left side looks like a light saber, not the typical white line from the album cover.

true, noticed that the album cover looked odd but chalked up as someone's way of avoiding copyright infringement on the 'Dark Side of the Moon' album cover

Wouldn't be surprised if he popped back in to both confirm my belief and maybe even give me a little hell for the comment.

But then it would surprise me if he popped back in.

I feel hurt by your comment:'( I was actually making a reference to the fact that Sins has starships or spaceships if you prefer. I would never do anything to harm my beloved Pink Floyd, hell I would castrate myself before I did any such thing. But thanks for the welcome anyway, I'm sure there are alot of happy people just like you on the forum :P.

Well, if that was the intent, I'm okay. Star Wars fanatics themselves will taint anything they can get their hands on. Long live the Pink Floyd.

And yes, I'm one of the more happy happy people here. Just look back on my posts about genocide and lollipops if you have any doubts.

I'm personally more of a Star Trek fan myself, genocide and lollipops are some of my favorite things in the whole wide intarwebz.

Hey Ryat, I just want to point out an inconsistency in your lore.

"As such I am the most senior TEC officer and as such I am hearby taking command of this fleet until one of the three listed is able to return to duty."

As Carbon has pointed out multiple times now, the UE isn't part of the TEC (aside from the use of it's technology) and doesn't give a damn about it's rankings or structure.  Having that sentiment ingrained in their thinking, their ship crews wouldn't give a rat's ass that your character has a higher TEC rank.  They may not squabble over who's calling the shots while they're under attack in an effort to maintain a coordinated response, but the reasoning for taking command is weak at best and would likely provoke a less then desired reply.

Given that everyone got vaporized, at least he doesn't have to hear about it later.

And yes, I'm a trekkie. Not so insanely hardcore as to ignore reason though. Only reason I prefer Star Trek over Star Wars is cause I see a lot of existential philosophy in Star Trek. Star Wars is just a straight action movie. Fun, but not much to it.

Tell them when Lucas stops ripping off Ben Hur and the bible, then they can rip into anything they want.

Well command structures in such a fleet from multiply nationalities usually have an internal command structure already agreed upon by such an event that takes in such issues.

For example, technically Duke Edmenton is a Fleet Admiral and Xenon's rank is lower than that, but the Duke is fourth on the command structure list due to what you just pointed out. So he did have the authority to say what he said, even if his choice of words wasn't as proper.

And we know what it all meant and the duke ran face first into a wall of burning metal. So all is good.

Yeah, so I was working on my aspect of the DS web comic and was hitting one annoying problem after another. Then I thought, "I have enough shit going on," and tossed the whole damned thing. So my contribution is just the 2-D. Beyond that, people can bite my crank.
