Pick a Side: The Forum Game

Pick a Side: The Forum Game

The rules are fairly simple here, we have a two sided topic and you just have to choose a side and present evidence why you chose that side. The topics will alternate and you can change sides. I will try and stay away from religious/inflammatory topics so dont post about them and respect other peoples beliefs.

First Topic: Most interesting to read. Fiction or Non-fiction?

Im starting small but we'll work our way up to more interesting topics. at the end ill tally the posts for each side and tell you who won and then we'll pick a new topic. feel free to suggest topics.

AS OF NOW: Just Choose between the Choice above you and Then make a new Choice.

Where else have you been? I'd tell you where I've been, but that's 1/3 of the country, so I'll spare you the details.

Srry for the late reply... but I did grant your wish.*_*

I don't believe reality is limited, just look at the atomic bomb, it was considered fiction for a long time, now we can blow the planet up! Same thing with quantum mechanics I believe that will some day in the distant furture be reality :)

Ummm... I think you read the wrong post. Reality vs. Fiction was on the first page, buddy. Now we're on Candy vs. Chocolate (say chocolate! )

Retaliation! yay!\o/

'General Area'? wow specific. Why dont I tell them what school you go too hmm koda0? thats probably almost as specific as you can get lol.

Something called Internet Safety koda0 and giving me your school website? not exactly the best idea ever lol though I won't abuse your trust.

I have complete anonymity, but that doesn't do me any good. All that I've said is that I live in Florida and from Uranus (hooray for credability). Actually, I'm kinda bored; I dare either of you two to find out where I live. Hint: I am the omly IrationalFear on the internet.

Skittles eat chocolate for breakfast (my opinion).

And Veers, he said "General" for a good reason.

Lol, thx for catching the pun IFear...

And again, I don't think anything that hunts me down at my current school could be worse than what happened in my Ft. Meade (a base near Baltimore/DC) school... some dude came in (like, 25 ish old) looking to beat the crap out of a girl who was messing with his sister. The cops showed up and everything... it was awesome! He came at lunch, so everybody started pelting him w/ food and trays and plastic utensils... ROCK ON!

Would you rather be shot in the @$$ and live (but lose anything important), or shoot someone there yourself and get the death penalty.

Hmm... tough one. I guess shoot someone there, because if a guy shoots you there, he's essentially telling you that he's gay for you, Marines style.

See, w/ fiction it's nothing but lies.  Ppl. who become too involved in fiction surround themselves with lies. Eventually, their world becomes nothing but the lies that they've been told to believe in.  Non-F is kinda boring, true, but Fiction has limits. There are limits to what you can imagine, regardless of what you're told, while their are NO limits to reality.  As the world of Non-F expands and grows, Fiction grows right along behind it, leeching off of what is already there, and twisting it to become more interesting.

Reality can easily become twisted corrupt and the same lie you call non fiction. So to me they are both in the same damn boat, atleast with fiction you aren't bound to the lies you arfe told in reality.

Well, that was quite the ressurection, wasn't it?
True, it is up to oneself to determine what is reality and what it fiction... but, in the end, is there truly a difference between the two?

Koda0 (^)

Nope. FIRE UP THE DEATH STAR!

Lolz... Veers would have the best comeback for that, though...

Koda0 (^)

Is there truly a difference koda0? Is there? Science says that our perception of our world as 3-D may be false so who is not to say that reality is the same as fiction? hmmm? HMMMM? Well I'll tell you who. Reality is, obviously, real life. This game, whilst part of that, is fiction for it in no way unless you are ultra-obssessed with it, impacts your life.

On the other hand...ITS FUN TO BLOW STUFF UP! BOOOOOM-shakalaka!
