Pick a Side: The Forum Game

The rules are fairly simple here, we have a two sided topic and you just have to choose a side and present evidence why you chose that side. The topics will alternate and you can change sides. I will try and stay away from religious/inflammatory topics so dont post about them and respect other peoples beliefs.

First Topic: Most interesting to read. Fiction or Non-fiction?

Im starting small but we'll work our way up to more interesting topics. at the end ill tally the posts for each side and tell you who won and then we'll pick a new topic. feel free to suggest topics.

smart answer. Me i didnt really care. Sure i liked Thriller and i had gotten a box of Oxy Clean once or twice but i didnt really care. Why? I live in the Hood, and thats where i grew up.out of the 25 childhood friends i had when i was 5 years old, only 3 (counting me) are still alive, and two are in Menard right now. Mabey thats why people think of me as a cold bastard. Eh, im used to it.

Awesome movies. (Almost) no screaming crowds at the movies, and you can go to a movie you really like more than once relatively cheaply, you'd need season passes to do that for a concert, and THOSE AIN'T CHEAP!!!

ok our new topic is: Halloween vs. St. Patricks Day (in other words: candy vs beer lol)

like for me its Winter-een-mas and Halloween. (winter-een-mas ftw! a whole week where you just play games!)

Halloween.

You get to dress up to be whatev you want, w/out the cops hunting you down (most of the time), and you get free candy! Although, Halloween might be cancelled this year in my area... it's already snowing outside!X( X(

W/ St. Patricks day... meh, it's not much really. Since I have to stay home I can't drink (not that I could in the first place, wink wink, nudge nudge), and it's cold as anything out, normally.
