Round 10 of the Metaverse League has begun! Welcome back to our returning players, and a special welcome to our new members.

Your powers of persuasion and flattery will win the victory for this round. You must complete a Political (Alliance) victory on a small map vs 5 opponents.

I've heard from VegJed and Ferrel so far this round for team B. By the way, prior to this round, I've never won an alliance victory, and I'm finding it terribly difficult. I may have to drop the difficulty level to obscene if I can't get this to work, but I'll keep trying for a bit :).

As to the position of vice-commissioner: Though I do not think I am the most capable MVL member for the position, I would like to help if help is needed. So I'll nominate myself, while hoping a better qualified member will volunteer :).

i liked using my race a lot (i'm finding the Altarians to be pretty cool- except for their logistical ability which really hampers my ability to wage war) but still very difficult settings- mostly from the complete lack of planets to colonize. In my last two games, there was only the home systems and that's it.

Just a note to say that the current assumption is that I'll be out for the next 3 MVL rounds.
2 weeks from now I'm flying to the US, will be working there for 3 months. And knowing the joys of working on assignments abroad, I'll probably have very little time to spend on GalCiv II or any other passtime for that matter...
So until further notice, don't include me in any team drafts to avoid no-shows :)

Just a reminder to everyone that Round 10 ends in about 4 days. If any team is missing players and needs to make a substitute submission, let us know in this thread.

And I'll be the first one... Team D will likely need a back-up game played. I havent heard from Seven300 for quite a while, and I know Ragnar is travelling in Honduras, and consequently cant play GC2. He submitted his game, but wont be available for a backup game. Which leaves just Pzinit and I. Piznit though, hasnt submitted a game yet either.

Silver, do I have permission to play a back-up game for Seven300?
