Introducing the new WC group skindex. The members are sAARGe, Libardo, MrPaul, Pixeleo, HapTork, RobJK, DEVJIT mkorashy and TheMasterBaron .... and.... We will be making a group as soon as the facility will be available on WC.



I think we should start with a fresh suite. We firstly need some graphics and ideas. I am not sure but we can also start with my GMX style graphics. Here is a sort of indication of what area is taken by whome....

Libardo .......... Cursor, Railendar
sAARGe .......... Logons, Boots, IP
DEVJIT .......... Wallpapers, Vista Logons
MrPaul .......... WB, Grafix
HapTork .......... all DX Stuff
Pixeleo .......... Docks, and whatever he wants
TheMasterBaron ......... Dream
mkorashy ........... IP

PuterDudeJim ........... DX Theme

There are no hard n fast guidelines of what one should do cause it will be always an every member contribution.
I believe whole WC community will support us. So lets get to work...

Should I make both types of dream (Shatter and Crack) for the skin? Or should I settle on just one?

devjit, check your PM. I like the bright streaks in the first set. They added some definition. This latest sets colors look better for the shatter effect because of contrast in colors, but with the dark edges, it's hard to see the effect on the sides of the screen.

Incredible screen shoots! But friends i think we're going away from our conception, im glad that you want place our logo everywhere but maybe now in Broken Aero we need place on logons boot and walls logo of Windows Vista? (cracked of course)
SkinDex logo we can use in our second theme, we can use in it logo and our firm colors, and make shiny bright and colorfully theme.
In Broken Aero i think we ve got to follow the colors and style of vista. and use original elements and original logos of vista.
And one more think i afraid that when we use logos of skindex it looks like we make "Broken SkinDex". SkinDex must lives! and grow up! we dont need to broke it :))).

Exactly. This isn't the only project SkinDex will do. So we need a logo to match the theme we do.
How about a normal Vista orb [cracked] instead of the SkinDex logo? Something that shows that we broke the glass :LOL:

We wouldn't anyone thinking SkinDex makes only broken works.
I agree 100% with you MrPAul.As many Vista original elements as possible broken will give the best effect,imo.

Keep in mind, also that not everyone wants a logo/brand on their skins. If you brand the skins, it's a good idea to keep it discreet ;)

Libardo is working on this ...... he is making a logo for suite ..... ( same concept )

if we really want to use a logo ....., then we can use suite logo .... or not ???

It exactly what I had in mind. try some walls from vista. for example two from devjit and 3 from vista for more vistalisation.....

I have posted a dream before that used a vista wall and it was denied because I was told it wasn't allowed.
