Introducing the new WC group skindex. The members are sAARGe, Libardo, MrPaul, Pixeleo, HapTork, RobJK, DEVJIT mkorashy and TheMasterBaron .... and.... We will be making a group as soon as the facility will be available on WC.



I think we should start with a fresh suite. We firstly need some graphics and ideas. I am not sure but we can also start with my GMX style graphics. Here is a sort of indication of what area is taken by whome....

Libardo .......... Cursor, Railendar
sAARGe .......... Logons, Boots, IP
DEVJIT .......... Wallpapers, Vista Logons
MrPaul .......... WB, Grafix
HapTork .......... all DX Stuff
Pixeleo .......... Docks, and whatever he wants
TheMasterBaron ......... Dream
mkorashy ........... IP

PuterDudeJim ........... DX Theme

There are no hard n fast guidelines of what one should do cause it will be always an every member contribution.
I believe whole WC community will support us. So lets get to work...

I have spoken with Haptork, and he has emailed me asking that I do a DX theme. I was wondering if we are sharing graphics, and if so, I need some of the WB graphics, please. If we want all the parts to match, I think we should share gerphics. Talk to me.....  :D

A LONG time ago i wanted to make a DX program that would allow you to drag a "hammer" around on your screen and "BREAK" it (ie: put a broken transparent image centered where you Hit) But since i suck at graphics this wasnt something i could do. Just an idea.

RomanDA I don't know anything about DX, as much as I'd love to learn it I just don't have the time now. But I'm curious if this would be possible.

If someone were to make a CursorFX theme of a hammer to go with this, would it be possible to code that DX program, when running, to respond to just a double or triple click of the cursor. You could then use images of the same wallpapers from DEVJIT that TheMasterBaron is using for the Dream and make it so that if someone double or triple clicked on the desktop it would put an image of that same wallpaper but with the glass cracks in it. Maybe even taking it a step further and making so if you reclick on a spot that the DX has already posted an image it would then break out a piece of that wall and replace it with an image of the next wall.

I don't know if it is possible to make DX put a certain image file depending on the position of the cursor on the desktop at the time of the click or not. But I'm just thinking if so this would be a kind of neat substitute for those on XP who can't use Dreams and could "crack" their desktop at their own pace little by little over time.

Our suite will be very and very nice with all of you, friends.
Devjit walls and boot is very cool! i have some idea about it, in original vista boot, all screen is absolutely black, lets make something like this (but with yours progress bar)but with crack from top. and shine from this crack.
about WB, yes fonts is to light, there is some problem with this fonts in xp, yesterday i didnt know how to fix it, but today i understand everything absolutely readable)))
about cracks on right side, i think it too((((( its start panel is not ideal yet...(((
now i rest a little on weekend, and ready for a work with new power))))

Hey guys, in the bootskin Devjit's making, we can have either the Skindex logo, or a Broken Vista Orb over the progress bar so that it doesn't look blank!

Sorry for replying so late, school's opening tomorrow so I might not stay on the web for a long time like I used to do.

Not 100% sure how the boot skins work, but can the source of the shine move along a long crack as the progress changes?

I wish to take this opportunity to bow out of this effort. I understand that this is strictly a group effort and I respect this fact. I think it will be an awesome suite and I look forward to it's completion! Looking good guys!  :CONGRAT:

the idea for boot by devjit .... is very nice .....

but as Tim said that boot is too limited ..... and that idea will ask much perfection .... and much time for setup ....

New look for the dream. This is 10 seconds, if I stretch it to 30 seconds, the effect will be 3 time slower.
