Ronin I have been thinking and wanted to ask you what your thoughts were. According to the old SFB game. The Romulan's only had two fighter types. If you use the Z-1 for a Romulan. Do you want only one more made for them. Plus, the Gorn never built fighters. But just bought some of the larger ones from the Fed's. Should I go and try to make some home grown ones?

Actually they used used federation fighers with mercenary pilots, who were a smaller lizzard race that happened to be members of the Federation. There name escapes me right now, but they loved it since they felt they were kin to the Gorn, and the Gorn were cool with it since they are on average 9 feet tall and there was no fast fighter that could be built in a practical manner for them to fly.

Okay....here is a home grown Gorn Fighter. Let me know what you guys think of it.

Looks nice. The only Gorn ships I even remember where in the FASA Star Trek game and they werent to much in that. Where do you get the basic ideas for what you do? They do look super!

I real like the Gorn fighter, pretty much what I though there fighter would look like assuming they had a standard fighter of their own.

I have a few concepts based on what I was able to get on ship designs in Federation and Empires.

Here is the D5 war cruiser, Its the design based on the F&E game not the one in the show Enterprise, this one is built after the D7 and is supposed to be a faster lighter version, don't ask me why its a lower number maybe the D's are based on size not model number?




Finally here is the D6 Battle cruiser.




Like I said, Ronin I wouldn't have even gotten back to designing ships againn had your mod not inspired me to play the regular game again. If you want them their yours, if not I can totally understand you have plenty of ships here already.

Well....I guess being a retired Air Force guy helps a little. Was a creative kid. Loved to make drawings of spaceships. planes, ships and other things. As a teen, loved to build models. The spent a lifetime of playing boardgames, Miniatures, and computer games. Of Star Trek, Battlestar, and various military games. Guess the rest of it is just in the blood.

I vote for the D-16 as the starting Klingon Flagship.

Neat, thanks for the nod on the ships too, I can send you the fighter if you want but really its not a overly complicated design, The Klingon fighter design is simple and easy to mass produce, according to the F&E history.

Hay Ronin, also I was thinking, a while back someone made a Star trek the animated series mod, it wasn't much but it could give you a jump start on race images and logos, might save some time.

Seeking permission at the moment to be allowed to use the actual pics owned by Star Fleet Universe games.

As you can see these are the 3 starting vessels. A D-16 for your surveyship(note that there is no survery module visible however it will still survey), S-10 mining ship; and G-13 Colonyship.

SWEET! Ronin.....now that you are done with the Klignon update. What race are you going to work on next? Thought that maybe, might make a few ships or fighters for you to look over.

Gorn and Romulan ships please. Probably going to start on Gorn next.

Ronin......Okay, If you want to use the Z-1 Zoran as a Romulan fighter. Go ahead. I will see about making another fighter to go with it. Also, I had and idea of a Gorn Constructor ship. It would look a lot like the Brontosaurus-Stegosaurus in its setup. Could even do a Miner Ship version from it too. What other Gorn ships would you like to see?

I had just downloaded the first version of the Federation ships. I built a few ships. Not sure if Ronin would want to add this later on. But here is the Gettysburg, A destroyer that I built.

Exhausted from the Federation at the moment. Think I have like 26 ships posted currently. Still eventually I want to add an expansion pack that will include: fighters; more ships; and mobile starbases.



I know Lyrans got their fighters from Klingons and Gorn got theirs from Federation but I want individual race fighters. You might play a game with the Gorn but no Federation, how do you explain having human starfighters?

Okay decided not to do too much for the Gorn. They need some tiny ships and atleast 6 Cargo type vessels. Here are the tiny ones I'm including.
