Lower Difficulty Mega-Events

Experimenting with some mods so I put together a game set at the level of Beginner to try them out. Been a few game years and I noticed no Mega-Events have occured. This option was enabled, will they not set off if you are below Normal?

I know they happen at levels lower than Normal on DA, but I don't have TA yet so I can't answer that. But they said they really didn't screw around with the mega events at all, so chances are you're just unlucky (or would that really be lucky?)

I have been pretty unlucky too, I haven't had a single mega event since I have played TOA. That has been through about 12 or 13 games, with difficulty about Masochistic and the option is always toggled on. I was wondering if it was a bug myself.

Nope, no bug. I've had 4 in the same game year! That was exciting. TA at challenging.

Mega Events not happening can be clased as good and bad, so whatever way you look at it you might think that this is a good thing :D
