Altarian Temptress Mod?

Has anyone heard of a DA mod where the Altarian leader's conversations were altered to be seductive/suggestive/nagging/jealous/etc? I think the categories varied based on the diplomatic relations, and it only worked if the player was Terran. I believe the author claimed that the behavior was modeled after his ex-wife, if that is any help.

Well, I can't find it anywhere. I ran across a mention of it in some obscure place while I was surfing for xml-based modding knowledge last year. I think I'll make my own version, but it won't be suitable for posting. I have a particularly good quote in mind for "Low Relations". Something to do with Alan Bradley's "Little Problem"..............

Well, you have to look at the conversation as a whole. "So, how have you been" may well be followed an hour later by "Relax, I do this with my boyfriend all the time. What so you think I'm going to do, run out of the elevator and leave you handcuffed to the railing with your pants down?"

"So, what now?" is probably one of the most inherently dangerous questions that a girl can ask. Believe me, any answer that includes the words "toe" and "peanut butter" will invite a dire consequence (Especially if the toe in question is yours).

The dreaded "So, I just got a message from the finance department at (your local truck/car/golf club/motorcycle/plasma TV dealer). This couldn't POSSIBLY have anything to do with that (insert appropriate item here) that we agreed we can't afford, DOES it?" was utlimately caused seven years in the past by the seemingly innocent "So, what's your name?"

After a hiatus from modding in general, I have decided to finish this, with a couple of changes. I am going to do it for ToA instead of DA, and I will add some little suprises to some of the other AI races' conversations. If I can figure out how to replace the player resopnse "great" with "dipS&#Ts" in the trade screen, I'll do that also. I will test it to make sure it is metaverse-compatible before releasing it.

Since Alan Bradley is not present in ToA, the mod will be designed for a "generic" player. I think I might also start a little rivalry between the Temptress and Jenna Casey.

Gee, am i gonna have to do a triple XXX too? Since one X is good enough for now?

Adultly speaking, i can certainly detect plenty of areas in the gameplay itself that could spice things up a little; laundry list -- tech tree (weapons types & defensive manoeuvers), UP meetings issues, Diplomacy offers & exchanges, ship shapes, abilities, Bonuses, etc.

Soooo, snarkotamus - you've got a LOT of work to do -- see ya in nine months. :smitten:
