Kzinti Empire - offical empire thread

You have dared to enter the lair of the most ferocious predators in the galaxy!

It is the ulitmate destiny of the Kzinti to conquer the other civilizations of the galaxy, subjugate and enslave any who may prove useful to us, and devour the rest. The Fanged God has ordained that this is how it will be.

In just 26 octals of days (7 months or so...Kzinti count in base 8), the Kzinti Empire rose from obscurity, to #1 on the Metaverse. With the blessings of the Fanged God, we have remained dominant for 100s more octals of days since that auspicious day.  We leapt past the other empires, and our mighty domain now encompasses over 32 million more light years than the second most powerful empire.  The most recent Galactic Map data shows that we have subjugated over 45% of the galaxy.  Many warriors from the old and dying empires have joined us, to avoid being eaten along with the rest.  We hunger to establish indefinite supremacy over all the inferior sentient species...

We have also been #1 on the AltMeta for over 3 years running. The Empire grows more powerful with each passing day as new conquests are won, and more warriors join us in our inevitable rise to rule the galaxy!

The Kzinti are a species of bipedal space-faring feline predators, who love nothing more than conquest and battle. Created by sci-fi writer Larry Niven, the Kzinti have had many stories written about them, most notably in the Man-Kzin Wars series of books. They have also shown up in the Star Trek universe, and a number of other realities.

"Kzinti flesh has a very strong and pungent taste. The weak among us are devoured by their litter-mates within a few moons of birthing. Only the swiftest and most ferocious of us survive to their first naming-day. Those not fit to survive will never live to perpetuate their inferior bloodlines. This is the natural law of the galaxy." - Kzinti Warrior

kzin6

"The meaning of life is the hot blood of your prey on your tongue, the meat that rends beneath your teeth, the corpse of your enemy left in the sun for the carrion eaters to finish, your defeated foe groveling in submission before you. That is what life is. We are the Kzinti, and we stronger, swifter, wiser, and more ferocious than any other race ever was or will be." - Kzinti philosopher

If your claws can grasp it, then it is rightfully yours. - Kzinti proverb

A salute to all those heroic t'kzintar who have made this empire a resounding success. Our conquests continue and the galaxy will never know peace!

Seriously though, as I said, anyone was welcome to take the 3000th post.  Kzinti count in base 8 anyway!

I was off seeing Slumdog Millionaire this afternoon.  Wow, what an intense movie!  Working for the state of Vermont has some benefits....today was Town Meeting Day, so I had off from work.  We get a bunch of wierd holidays.

Truth be told, I have 2 Australian Shepherds. A black tri-colour, and a blue merle. D'Argo and Rygil. My wife wants a cat. I figure, if it can last 5 minutes, it'll be the one we keep. I'll call it Scorpius.

Groan! Grumble! Snark!

I could've posted 10 more YZWs today. When's the infernal machine going to work again? Well, at least I made some progress on Kang's latest long game.

I don't care how Tyrants is spelled. My empire, i named it, It's Tyrannts.

It's meant to be double n. I wanted to be different.

Education always suffers under tyranny...  Almost as bad as Texas under "W".  ;)

I just noticed that I'm about 25k short of 3 Million total points for the three characters combined. Sure would have been sweet to break that barrier and announce it in post No. 3000. Maybe I'll hold it in until Post 3333 comes up.

Oops, scratch that, it's 250k. That would have been a BUNCH of YZWs considering the score depreciation. I don't feel so bad now.

lool... that's news to me

What, the double n?

It's always been that way. The empire name and our site are both with the double n.

Yes Tyrants is spelled with one N but Tyranny as in the inspiration of the empire name...""The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is The Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."" is spelled with two n's

So anyone who is a member is a tyrannt.

I thought it aptly reflected the empire name.

um, okay. i just didn't know that.

Knowing me you had to know it was from Pulp Fiction somehere...

:P

Hello :D

@Neilo, so let get this staight  you where inspired by good O:)   to be an evil empire }:) . You are so lost in the dark on that on one. ;P Find your way back to the light and become Tryanny of Good :-"   What a twisted fate that would be. You could make a movie now.  Ohh darn, George Lucas already did it.  Mmm May force be with you Mmm

I have turtle and I raise Iguanas and my largest is almost 5 five but I have seen them big as 6 feet. I don't like Komodo Dragons around here, they have nasty bite that kills in days

@Ferrel, Have you ever watched Farescape. Nice name for a cat.

Errrr no. :maybe:

Not sure what would have led you to that conclusion.

I mentioned Pulp Fiction, my avatar is Jules Winfield, and i quoted one of the most emorable scenes in the movie.

A scene where Jules and Vincent empty their magazines into Brett, not more than a few minutes after Jules shoots the guy on the lounge.

What part of all that did you find good?

Now i'm going to assume you believe that to be a bible quote. It's close but they are very different.

Regardless the key phrase being the tyranny of evil men.

We in the ToE are those evil men that is spoke of, we do not enslave and conquer in the name of charity and goodwill.

}:)

Hello

I missed the part of Pulp Fiction but I got the part of the double "n"s. Oh the part I put in my quote, that is all.  So that means you are not like Darth Vader (good to bad then bad to good thingy). I understand now.

I just started the first season of "That 70's Show". When you are stressed, recommended to laugh so hard until your ribs hurt. Don't forget the party favorites too. :moo:

Bugger all, it looks like either:

1) Someone got cut off by an early 90's green Escort and didn't catch the plate and is now looking for revenge

OR

2) This is part of the new stimulus plan for Ford

I'm just glad my green Escort is a 2002 and I'm on the other coast.
