I made one major mistake with this game, which I didnt realize until I submitted it.  I played it with the wrong character...doh!  Time to start another one with the character I intended, hehe.   Again, I had no beneficial random events in this game, which has been a chronic problem since I started playing gigantic maps.  I could have scored 1 million with another 1.5 years or so, but decided to end the game.

PARKLAND, Fla. – At the height of the U.S. housing boom, when building materials were in short supply, American construction companies used millions of pounds of Chinese-made drywall because it was abundant and cheap.

     The drywall apparently causes a chemical reaction that gives off a rotten-egg stench, which grows worse with heat and humidity.

     Now that decision is haunting hundreds of homeowners and apartment dwellers who are concerned that the wallboard gives off fumes that can corrode copper pipes, blacken jewelry and silverware, and possibly sicken people.

     In another cruel twist, some of the very communities that have been hit hardest by the collapse of the housing market and skyrocketing foreclosure rates are now at the epicenter of the drywall problem.

KP how do you do it? Honestly how? I couldn't even survive the first year on surcidal.

That is one thing I don't understand.  Why is it that people wait until the last minute to file their taxes?  Mine got done back in early February...

I usually do mine as soon as I get the info, but just couldnt get off my a$$ this year though.   I file electronically, so it only takes about 1/2 hour....I'm done already. 

The MV seems to be down at the moment, so I'm playing in the arcade over at the Core.

I guess the other deciding factor (beside laziness) is if you know you will owe or not.  I knew I was just barely in the green (run withholdings for the lowest return [aka smallest overpayment] possible) so I wanted my money back ASAP.  Now, if I knew I was owing, those buggers would have waited until after my b-day to get their money...that in itself is the very thing I just boggled about above, seeing my b-day was just yesterday lol.

Getting to take the std deduction and THEN claiming property taxes was nice this year.  I cannot wait for next year's filing though.  My wife is seasonally laid off over the winter, so she's on unemployment for 3 months.  We never get any federal taxes taken out, so that we have as much money as we can over winter.  Since we make sure our work paychecks make enough buffer, we are making up for that lack of federal tax payment.  However, this 2009 stimulus will make the first $2,400 of UC federal tax free.

I usually have my witholding set so that I'm close to breaking even with my return.  So it's not a high priority to me as the amount either way is pretty small.  Good to hear about the UC tax credit, as I'll be benifiting from that on my next return.  Hopefully next year I'll benefit from the credit for buying a home too...

Nah, just know these things by now.  The Pete Rose one my uncle brought up to my mom the day I was born.  Thru the years I caught the Titanic and Lincoln things.  The slight distinction with them is important.  The Titanic HIT the iceburg on the 14th, sank on the 15th; Lincoln was SHOT the 14th, died on the 15th.

Sarah Michelle Gellar however I caught on to when I was a devoted fan to the Buffy series.
